European PSN releases for May 14

A few new games make their way to the European PSN Store today amid the normal torrent of DLC releases. PopCap finally graces Europe with Bejeweled 2 and Zen Pinball makes its global debut, day and date with the American release. Other than that, there's DLC for PAIN, Street Fighter IV, Sonic Unleashed and ... sadly, not LittleBigPlanet. Guess those Media Molecule folks have to take a break sometime. The store is also lacking any new PSP content for this week. Sorry, handheld fans.
[Update] PopCap has confirmed that Bejeweled 2 is only the beginning for the European PSN. Zuma, Heavy Weapon, Peggle and Feeding Frenzy will all be heading to Europe in the coming months.

me too!

I thought that too, though now I've got to wait for the 379MB "update" for PAIN.
That game is turning into a nightmare, has anyone worked out how much every addon for it is yet?
Wadey @ May 14th 2009 1:37PM
I just added them up... all PAIN content at todays prices including the original game is £31.37. Little Big Planet is worse, if you forked out £40 for the original and bought all the costumes (those in packs I used the pack price not individual prices - that would be more) you'd have spent £87.01 !!
jasper @ May 14th 2009 8:45PM
wow thats a lot of money good job i dont buy every add on for a game unless its really good lol
Plankfan @ May 14th 2009 1:52PM
Yay! Free Daxter pack!

I like that your mention of there being NO PSP content, justifies adding this update to the PSP section of the Blog!
Stop wasting my time and doing this... It should not be on this section!!!!!
Don @ May 14th 2009 3:13PM
Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. I mean, the Joystiq Nintendo site also has articles that have *NO* PSP content, shouldn't they mention that & then post those here too???
Normally the PSN releases column *could* have PSP content, so even if it doesn't it'll probably be posted in the PSP section just to keep it grouped regularly.
But yeah, I'd rather just NOT HAVE IT POSTED HERE rather than having an article posted here because it spells out it doesn't have anything to be posted here.

Isn't "no content" a valid piece of information? The statement about Joystiq Nintendo is just plain dumb. PSN is an outlet for PSP content. And, really, it's not like the PSP section is flooded and this post is the straw that broke the camel's back.
Squirtbot @ May 14th 2009 8:04PM
Well, if the point is that theres "no PSP content", then its pretty null and void, being a moot point.
Just inform me when there is actual information or actual "content".

US store update is live, and they're giving away Rag Doll Kung Fu for Free (I know the game might not be all that, but at least our Sony overlords have rewarded us for being loyal customers) Also PS1 version of KOF 99 is on their for like $5
Thomas Fogh @ May 15th 2009 2:35AM
No free Rag Doll Kung Fu on the EU PSN? :(
