Shatter breaks onto PSN later this year
Move over, Magic Ball. PlayStation Network is getting yet another twist on the classic brick-breaking genre courtesy of Sidhe, "New Zealand's largest game studio." You'll know how to play Shatter just by looking at the trailer: use a paddle to bounce an object back and destroy bricks. However, this isn't your father's Breakout. Expect a variety of power-ups, special attacks and, yes, boss battles.
You can check out the debut trailer, after the break.

It would be nice if the arcade games on the PSN would have some kind of demo before purchasing.

I'm down. I really like the style. But I'm DEFINITELY in if it has custom soundtracks.

I'm all for supporting indie developers.
But, another breakout game? How many of these have we gotten over the years... The formula is kinda stale at this point. I bought Magic Ball, and it's the ONE PSN purchase I actually regret getting, and I have 20 PSN games.

I have 30, still loved Magic Ball, just the core Game, not buying the expansion.
