Portable Soulcalibur keeps things big
As you can see in these new screenshots, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny isn't giving up the graphical detail found in the console games. No, Ivy is well-endowed with ... polygons. It reminds us that although PSP may be a handheld device, it can pump out truly spectacular graphics so long as developers do the breast they can.

I think you misspelled "bes--" Oh wait. ...Nevermind :)
Black Mage @ May 15th 2009 7:31PM
I could care less about what Ivy looks like, as long as the fighting is good and the online doesn't lag I'm getting it.

Surely you meant to say "as long as the fighting is good and the breasts don't sag I'm getting it."?
Black Mage @ May 15th 2009 8:52PM
good one +1

Heh heh, that juvenile joke made me chuckle!

So the weird ugly guy with the Handlebar mustache is the new character!?. As long as everyone from SC4 is there than it's a must buy.
WhiteShield @ May 15th 2009 8:19PM
hey, good or decent graphics, this is soul calibur on psp and i'm totally psyched. although have good graphics, especially for Ivy isn't something i'm going to complaing about :). i'm just waiting for actual in game video rather than trailers, but this looks like it is going to be really great
SecretAgentHam @ May 15th 2009 9:17PM
Yoon. you win the post of the day good sir.
as for the game, its a must buy for me...however, i hope its Downloadable. its something about fighting games on the psp that i would just rather downloaded for convenience.
same goes for dissida, regardless of how big the file will be.

Nice. Soul Calibur and Tekken, now we only need Virtua Fighter! C'mon SEGA!!!
anarkhy @ May 15th 2009 10:04PM
Virtua Fighter and Samurai Shodow 64 for psp would rock.
NukeAssault @ May 15th 2009 10:26PM
Nice tags Yoon. XD
Ah, cant wait for this. Even though i own the console version. SoulCal is just too much fun.... Now if only there was a SFIV portable... Get on the Capcom.
cafecito @ May 15th 2009 10:29PM
The new character looks meh. Calibur's design has turned way too cartoony on the last two games, but hey... it's still a great game. And I still can't believe it's getting the portable treatment :D
Feba @ May 16th 2009 3:26AM
So, so close. You were supposed to say "breast they cans".
The S is important!
Clannad @ May 16th 2009 7:25AM
Definitely going to purchase this because of the fact that the graphics still look like my copy of SCIV on PS3 even for a PSP game. Plus, I love SC anyways.
Bucket @ May 17th 2009 12:02AM
I have to say, those are some great graphics. Namco is really in touch with tits audience.
george @ May 20th 2009 8:41PM
aha! I almost didn't grab that one
abnerayag @ May 17th 2009 10:59PM
sega might as well get on the bandwagon and port virtua fighter to psp. it could only help expand the audience as the portable version is the perfect "gateway" market.
