Buy a PSP, get Chains of Olympus or LocoRoco 2 free at GameStop

if you've yet to nab yourself a PSP -- or if you're looking for an excuse to upgrade to a PSP-3000 -- GameStop just might have a deal for you. Right now, if you buy a new PSP system, you can snag either God of War: Chains of Olympus or LocoRoco 2 for free. Granted, both games only cost around $20 anyway, but a free game is a free game. The offer is available in-store or online (use the code FREEGOW). Our local GameStop stated that the offer was only good for the core system, though it looked like the discount was being applied when we put a Dissidia bundle into our cart on GameStop.com (attempt at your own risk).

The offer ends on May 21 (this Thursday), so you'd best be snappy if this deal is for you.

Shame GoW is terrible and LocoRoco 2 isn't as good as LocoRoco.

I'm just not into button bashers with a bit of musicless rhythm action game built in.

The reason I prefer LocoRoco to LocoRoco 2 is because they make you press frikking buttons to make to little guys sing. D= On the old one I could just sit back relax and smile as they sang their little hearts out.

Though I've only played the demo of CoO. My UMD player crapped out on me, so no gaems for me :(

I though it was incredible though. Barely any compromises from GoWPS2 to GoWPSP.

That was my first thought on this offer. I mean why would they be giving away two of the better PSP games for free with a new system? Sure GoW is a little old, but LR2 is kinda recent. There's still money to be made in both cases.
