Pirating = multiple users using a single copy (license) of something at once without ever paying for the copy they have obtained.

Buying used games = one person using one copy (license) of something at a given time. You bought it once, so you then owned that game, you then traded it in for someone else to buy the game, or own it.

... The used item market isn't only corners by games you know? There's a whole market out there for used things. Ever heard of a pawn shop? Used college books? Used CD's and DVD's? Used clothing? I suppose all of those are illegal, pirating based business.

Buying used games helps move new games. Plenty of people trade in their old games towards a new game they might not be able to afford otherwise. A lot of the people that buy used games wouldn't buy them new to begin with. There are so many things wrong with your statement, Martin.

I saw this coupon online, so I went to Gamestop today to check it out. Their used game prices are a shocking insult. 55 dollars for a "used" copy of Fallout 3? Really? Why would I buy a used copy for 55 when I can head over to Amazon and get a NEW copy for 45? And Grand Theft Auto 4 was 36 dollars "used" while Amazon has it new right now for 27. What exactly is this coupon giving you a 20% discount on, a 20% markup of the originally listed price?
Don't bother with this coupon, just go to Amazon and pay less for a new and sealed copy!
