Monsters are heading to LittleBigPlanet this week on the PlayStation Store. The upcoming "Monster Kit" is the first of what Media Molecule calls "Medium" sized DLC packs. For $3.99 (€3.99), players will get a large number of ready made pieces, materials, decorations, sounds and stickers. In addition, the DLC pack will include a "gallery level" that shows off how to best use these items in the creation of your own levels.
We do believe these "Medium" packs are a better value than previous sticker sets. However, we're still aching for something as epic as the Metal Gear Solid pack launched many months ago. Please, Media Molecule?
Surely they can make some level packs if they can make the stuff in that video. I would bet that they are working on a lot of level packs at the moment. I hope I'm not being too optimistic but I have faith in MM.
Bring us more levels! Stop it with the nickel and diming on stickers and crap. We want levels made by Mm. Not user-created crap. It's too hard to find decent levels, and takes too long to load them when you do. I was so enamoured with this game for months, but after beating all levels, I've lost interest, and user content was lacking in depth and creativity. They need to release a 2nd Blu-Ray chock full of levels, and levels only. Also, some kind of story line would do very well on this game. But I guess if this stuff keeps LBP in people's minds and in the press, then I'm all for it. It's just not for me.
I crave more professional levels too, but to be honest there are a few dozen creators that make work of the same/higher quality - you just have to weed through all the goddamn prize levels on the 'highest rated' page. Large packs like this, with or without developer levels, mean there's sure to be whole load of fresh content in the next few weeks. So you should still be happy about it. =)

Come on! No Frankenstein???
Why would they even put another skeleton costume? There is already like 3 in the game.
Either way this is still better than 5.99 costume packs with no stickers, decorations, etc.

this would have been a great halloween pack

I agree. More of a Halloween pack... should have been released in October in the spirit of creepiness, lol.

Unrelated comment, but agreed. I'd totally forgotten about them! They're just three colourful boobs on my LBP profile.

I think another 'Large' pack is just about due. But if ones of this size become more frequent, MM may just get to know my wallet a little better.
