Told you guys MGS and RE1 were coming. I would expect to see FF7 around E3 time, probably after Sony's conference as a "surprise" from them.

Nooo! anything but ff7 then my ps1 copy would be worth significantly less! j/k I would not mind other people experiencing one of the best if not THE BEST rpg on the ps1.

No offense, but FF VII isn't worth much unless it is the black label. That being the case, it being re-released on PSN wouldn't change the value at all.

Hrm is it worth paying $6 for MGS just to play on my PSP on the bus (I already have it and playing via remote play leaves a little to be desired). Hrm.........decisions decisions.

honestly, I've played MGS so many times on my big screen, I don't even want to imagine it on PSP. And yet, I may buy it solely for VR missions. Goddamn you, Kojima, I'd probably pay for flipping MGS tetris wouldn't I.

I've been dying to play MGS1 and RE since I never did before so this is great just hope Sony some day adds a Widescreen option for the PS1 games.

hope, that's something that always lives in the future and rarely delivers.
don't hold your breath on widescreen options, although it sounds reeeeaaaalll nice.
also, RE2 and Medal of Honor were rated awhile back...where are they...when's this great year for the PSN re: PS1 titles going to start????

I couldn't possibly hold my breath for that long, I would probably suffocate to death.But who knows maybe tomorrow they'll add 10 PS1 titles just to stick it to us.

a little fyi psone games have been available for 2 years on the japan store and mgs1 has been there sense then they even have 3 of the biohazerd(resident evil) games. just look at there store last i was there which was last week they had 20 pages of old games. All they are doing is converting japan to english language then increasing the price.

I want The Legend of Dragoon.
I absolutely hated the first MGS game, it was an absolute chore to get through. I still need to finish MGS2, I'll probably end up playing 4 first to see if that can warm me up to the series.
I would also like to see RE2, I have REDS so I don't need RE1.

I LOVED The Legend of Dragoon. I remember a Sunday afternoon, playing that particular treasure, and my mother asking me to do something and me replying "...I don't really think I can stop playing right now."
I don't think that we'll see PaRappa or Star Ocean, since both have been remade for the PSP.

The only PS1 games that I would like to be able to play include:
(i) Intelligence Qube (out on the Japanese PSN store already)
(ii) Crono Cross
(iii) Final Fantasy VII
(iv) Final Fantasy VIII
That would be my must have must buy list.

The input lag is definitely there for PS2 games. I tried playing Gitaroo Man on my PS3 a while back and it was terrible. I haven't noticed it with PS1 games but then again I haven't played any with strict timing requirements like KOF. Does disabling all upscalling and smoothing help at all?

Because KOF 2002 would be PS2 not PS1 so which means it won't be unless Sony decides to put PS2 games as downloadable games(but that would also would mean to bring back backwards compatibility with PS2 games unless they just want to do like a remix version for HD).

MGS has nothing on SpecOps! *sarcasm* Seriously though if SpecOps cost more than $1 your getting ripped off. It only cost $10 when it was brand new and it was worthless unless you played co-op with a friend.
