E3 has come early for White Knight Chronicles fans

Sony just can't wait any longer to show you its White Knight Chronicles E3 trailer, so instead of sitting around impatiently, twiddling thumbs, the company decided to release it today. You can find it after the break. Sure, you may have seen a lot of White Knight Chronicles trailers in your time, with some even dating back to TGS 2006, but this one is special. This one's in English.
There's nothing like seeing an English trailer to make you realise that, yes, this game is coming soon. We've been after this game for so long now that we almost gave up hope, but White Knight Chronicles -- complete with online co-op and hopefully voice chat support will be with us this year. Hopefully we'll hear a more concrete release at E3 next week.

Why is the whole internet spelling 'realize' (and many other words that should have a 'z' in them) with an 's' these days? I really want to know what that's all about. Is it a European thing, or what??
MaliceMajorE15 @ May 28th 2009 6:59PM
well in england we use an s in realise because its the correct way to spell it. its our language after all. we also spell colour correctly, with a U. i think its amazing how the spellings have changed on the other side of the pond
lol at the main characters name leonard btw. wasnt expecting that.
Ashitaka @ May 28th 2009 7:04PM
s -> british english (original language)
z -> american english

Thank you, I was very curious. Seems to be crossing over, for some reason. It just looks wrong to me, but that's how I was taught. At least it's proper somewhere! ;)

Since this is question time, I'm gonna take the chance and ask one too.
Am I the only one who sometimes can't post on Joystiq? I always check if my account username and password are correct (and they are!) but I still CAN'T POST.
Let me give an example:
I can't post here:
http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/27/why-blur-can-damage-its-cars/2#thankYou
Everytime I try to, I get this f*ing annoying message:
"You did it!
An e-mail has been sent to confirm your e-mail address, as well as a password for you to use if you comment regularly. Click on the link within the e-mail to activate your comment and password!"
BUT I ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT.
And again, I tried posting this, but I GOT THE SAME MESSAGE.
Let's see if I can post this by replying to someone.

MaliceMajorE15:
Actually, "realize" is not an Americanism. If you have access to the OED (Oxford English Dictionary) try looking it up. The "-ize" spelling goes back to 1611. The OED's earliest citation for the "-ise" spelling is not until 1755. (The OED actually refused to even list the "-ise" variants of these sorts of words for years, and still considers it incorrect for any word of Greek origin.)
It's important to recognize (or recognise, if you prefer) the fact that English spelling has never been consistent, on either side of the Atlantic. Words have changed spellings in both the UK and US. The wikipedia article on the topic is quite interesting: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_and_British_English_spelling_differences

I'm both excited and unimpressed, if that makes sense. the graphics look less than I would expect, but knowing it's nearing release and how awesome the game is going to be, I'm pumped.
btw, american english is really rough around the edges, but we take so many words from so many languages, it's bound to happen. maybe in a few hundred years it'll start making sense (or we'll speak spanish over here...).
DrAwesome123 @ May 28th 2009 8:10PM
God, I hope this is good.
handlas @ May 28th 2009 9:16PM

Neo Asuma @ May 28th 2009 9:16PM
I suggest that you guys check out some YouTube videos on this game just to get a feel for what the game will be like:

Whoops, that's a video of the older battle system. Here's a newer video. Sorry about that.
This game has a lot of commands and options, plus free online play. This will be a really cool RPG to play with friends, I think.

Level 5 really likes their bracelet transformation protagonists
dotzeno @ May 28th 2009 10:54PM
This is really good news. Was starting to think level 5 completely forgot or something. Anyhow, English dubs don't sound too bad for a JRPG. Good job.
trunks @ May 29th 2009 4:09AM
looks good, will buy this one as soon as it is out
astrocrack @ May 29th 2009 12:49PM
