Or I could watch the conference on my PC or wait for Sony to put it up on the PSN, that way I don't have to see a bunch of stupid text bubbles.
Trep @ May 29th 2009 9:12PM
From LocustStar "-NO, picture frames won't be available yet with the 1.21 update, but YES, we are getting them. You will hear more about them very soon, we promise (hint: it's a good idea to hang out in Home during E3!)"
http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?board.id=ps3home&thread.id=662361&view=by_date_ascending&page=1
So I wonder if she meant be on home during e3 and watch it later to hear more, or if they'll be giving out goodies or something. I'll probably have time to kill anyway :(
Princess_Cake @ May 29th 2009 9:14PM
When you go to that location you should get some free clothes and such like when you used to go to the actual even and get free shwag.
j.howlett @ May 29th 2009 9:16PM
i'll re-watch it in home. sometimes i have halfway decent conversations and depending on what happens at e3 it could be fun.
Tep @ May 29th 2009 9:34PM
Yay homes coming in useful. But then again I can watch it on G4 or my pc so meh.
Chris D.(PSN: Aggie_CEO | XBL:The Aggie CEO | Steam: Aggie_CEO @ May 29th 2009 9:37PM
Hmmmmmmm
Well I'll just be watching it on G4 or on the net then....might go in Home and watch it with other people tho....
so does this mean they wont be doing it in the conference space like the did last year??
tmacairjordan87 @ May 29th 2009 10:00PM
I looked into it today, they have a presentation podium space up now in the main Home section of the world map.
Nineteen88 @ May 29th 2009 10:19PM
That's so cool, I would like to be there and watch the presentation, it will be the best thing I've ever done in Home!
PN04 @ May 29th 2009 10:25PM
Unfortunately the new streaming method they're using sucks and stops every 20 seconds to buffer video. which makes it less appealing to watch it there. Not that it's not a nice idea though, not everyone will watch G4 and some people will come from other regions(even though they're not supposed to.) to watch before their region gets the video since some websites block none american ISPs.
Nineteen88 @ May 29th 2009 10:42PM
I agree, voted you up .. Streaming should be worked on.
DigitalTwisted @ May 29th 2009 11:02PM
Perhaps the video starts pre-loading live if you are in the space at the time and the delay is to then allow buffer free viewing?
Windmill @ May 29th 2009 10:37PM
I think it could be fun watching everyones reactions if it goes badly.... :D
tretle @ May 29th 2009 10:46PM
Where did scee state that it wouldnt be a live stream? I smell an article based on presumptions not facts.
Princess_Cake @ May 29th 2009 11:16PM
The reactions would be like...
"OMG, How can Kojima do that to us?!"
"Those grafix are teh p wn!1"
"Think the price drop will help?"
"Where are you from?"
stormtrooper190 PSN= (im not telling you that) @ May 30th 2009 12:01AM
you forgot the old " i have no keyboard" thing
Khaled @ May 30th 2009 12:08AM
And "where are you from?"
the Sawyer family @ May 30th 2009 1:20AM
"how old r u"
kappa @ May 30th 2009 2:03PM
"R U a girl?"
Roto13 @ May 29th 2009 11:24PM
Meh. I'll be watching it as it happens and I won't want to watch it again after.
Bladesonic @ May 29th 2009 11:35PM
Well, it's nice that Sony's finally adding something useful to Home, but I'd rather just watch it live somewhere. I'm not a big fan of Home anyway.
stormtrooper190 PSN= (im not telling you that) @ May 29th 2009 11:44PM
when dose it start on a GTM 00:00 with no DS time?
Frank @ May 30th 2009 1:59AM
Not a fan of the streaming, but after putting TGS in Japan Home, this was only expected. Can't wait.
Nick @ May 30th 2009 10:11AM
Why do that when I can watch it on G4 and then download the HD video of it later from the PS Store?
j.howlett @ May 30th 2009 10:55AM
i think the point is so ps3 owners can interact and discuss what sony does at e3
julk1989 @ May 30th 2009 10:56AM
Why not? Some people don't have access to G4, and might want to watch it sooner than waiting for the HD download. I think it's pretty cool they are doing it the way they are. It's there, so why not make use of it.
Nick @ May 30th 2009 5:29PM
It is cool but it would be even cooler if it were live and watching videos in Home didn't suck. I'll probably check it out and see people's reactions to it, but I'll enjoy it on G4 a few hours beforehand.
QAguy @ May 30th 2009 3:56PM
Well I will BE @ The SONY Press Conf. LIVE beetches!!! :P
Can't wait!! Ok, sorry for gloating, but I'm SUPER siked about going to the actual press conference....This might be the best E3 ever, esepecially for PS3 owners!
The HOME setup is cool, even though E3 is on a Tuesday this year and most will have to go to work/school...
Tez @ May 30th 2009 12:38PM
If I were home all day with no school/job/life, then I'd just catch it live; but since I work and Home will be updated by the time I get back, I think I may jump into Home and see what it's like.
Mo @ May 31st 2009 1:57PM
+1 cool to get off work and see it in home.
anytime anyone mentions anything it about home it gets flamed.. get over it.
Home WONT be useful until more games support launching... period.
I am still glad to see each and every improvement/idea they add... its going to be quite awesome.... once i can meet my friends and launch games...
until then... meh :-/
Fane @ May 30th 2009 4:56PM
Shame it won't be live-ish, like on IGN and elsewhere.
Kind of a black eye that Sony doesn't even get the exclusive first showing on their own network.
Still, I'll check it out.
Arkitekt @ May 31st 2009 5:25PM
There so far is no confirmation it will not be live.. only what Joystiq has said so far.
Also was not confirmed to Joystiq like they said, it was posted on Playstation.Blog.Europe by James Gallagher.

"You will be able to watch the SCEA press conference in Home, in a new space called the Presentation Podium. We’re still waiting for confirmation of when.
I know quite a few of you have been asking this question, so apologies for not replying to every one - busy times!"
Keep in mind this is the European Playstation blog, cannot access the US side of the blog to see if they have posted anything in regards to it.
