XSeed brings localized Half-Minute Hero, Lunar: Silver Star Harmony to E3
XSeed just announced its E3 line-up, which includes two PSP games we've heard about before: Half-Minute Hero and Lunar: Silver Star Harmony. You might remember Half-minute Hero as Hero for 30sec (the new name sounds so much better), which was that bizarre micro-RPG we've been drooling over for the past couple of months. As for Lunar: Harmony, it's a remake of the original Lunar game from Sega CD.Both games were previously Japan-only titles but are now coming to North America. Expect both to arrive sometime in the fall.

I really hope that X-Seed does Lunar some justice. I absolutely loved Working Designs' version.

Both games are great.
Looking forward to playing the US versions.

I just feel the need to mention that the original Lunar was a Sega CD game and that the PS1 version was a remake as well. Personally the Sega CD game is one of the most memorable RPGs I have ever played.

Half-Minute Hero will be mine.

This will be one of those cases where I'll probably call the game by the original name forever. Hero in 30 Seconds. Kind of like my friend who just imported Indigo Prophecy, but calls it Farenheight, since that's what it was called in EU or wherever he got it from.
Regardless, I look forward to playing it! Glad it's getting localized!

I still prefer Yuusha 30, but Half-minute Hero isn't bad.
Just make it downloadable. This would win downloads; UMD not so much a good fit for the pick up and go action.

If you do not have a spare 3 seconds to wait for the UMD to load up, you do not have time to be playing PSP in the first place.

UMD takes quite a bit more than three seconds if I have to open up my PSP, take out the old disk, put in the new one, wait for the menu to recognize it, load it, and wait through multiple loading screens which are lengthened by the drive's read speed compared to flash memory speed. That's at least half a minute (hm!), and quite possibly longer wasted on UMD.

Lunar is one of my fave JRPGs of all time, and this PSP version looks absolutely gorgeous (at least from the screenies) ... so count me in.
Hope there's some limited edition or collectibles to get with it, too :D
