Creat Studios continues its growing library of PSN games. The studio behind
Cuboid,
Magic Ball and the upcoming
Smash Cars, is planning on releasing two more games on the PlayStation Network this summer.
Digger is a true HD remake of the classic 80s PC game. Players must navigate an underground maze, digging horizontally and vertically to create a path, collecting power-ups, jewels and coins whilst avoiding monsters. The game will be available in both remade and classic modes.
Mushroom Wars is an arcade-inspired RTS. The visuals have a
PixelJunk look to it, albeit a bit more sinister. Players can play through Skirmish and Campaign mode with four difficulty levels. Custom music support, VoIP and YouTube recording support will all be included.

I used to love Dig Dug. I don't know if it will have the same appeal this many years later. Some games are just better for the arcade.

The remake here is digger, not dig dug:) Don't worry, I've made the same mistake several times--Both games are great though!

Never heard of Digger. I only knew of Dig Dug from the 80s.

um, is this mushroom wars for psp? cause im tired of the ps3 getting all the games that if they wern't in hd then they could be scaled down and played like burn zombie burn. Look at super star dust portable. it was awesome! i still play that! an now the ps3 is taking all the awesome arcade inspired games! Pixel junk! release games for the psp already! the ps3 is tired of your loving! move on to the portable awesomeness! we want fat princess! we want pixel junk eden! we want mushroom wars! ( i know pixel junk didnt make it) PLEASE FOR GOD'S SAKE! SHOW US SOME LOVE!

Not that theres anything wrong with both sub genres but c'mon isn't 'thinking outside of the box' and innovative games what PSN is all about?
