Future MotorStorm: Pacific Rift expansions promise more Speed and Adrenaline

MotorStorm fans can't seem to get enough content, judging from the constant stream of new DLC. It's either that or Evolution Studios is just not tired of giving fans more of MotorStorm: Pacific Rift. Promising two new major content packs, Pacific Rift will expand with a slew of new tracks, new vehicles, Trophies and more. Check after the break for details on both the Speed and Adrenaline expansions.

Speed Expansion:

Three new tracks and variants (Quicksands, Engorged, Dark Fire Swamp)
Four new vehicles
48-event Mini-Festival
Speed Weekend
Plus rewards, Trophies and Microbadges

Adrenaline Expansion:

Three new tracks (Reefrunner, Brimstone, Hollowed Earth)
Five track variants
Four new vehicles
Six new characters
New paintjobs for existing vehicles

Too bad they're announcing it now, I mean it's a great game and all but I doubt I'll play it again anytime soon.

what is a track variant ??
anyway day 1 purchase for me , love motorstorm , and id say my faviourite racing game on ps3 so far
bin a long time waiting , but cant wait much longer

Like the track normally is, but with new shortcuts, or different placement of obstacles, or you have to do the whole thing backwards etc.

Can anyone confirm for me that when additional Trophies come out with priced DLC whether or not you have to buy the DLC to get your Platinum? Or will the bar just not read 100%?

youll still get platinum but you'll only get 70% of the bar full

DLC trophies never count towards the platinum.

You don't need the additional trophies for the platinum. I have the platinum for LittleBigPlanet but the bar only reads 86% or something because I don't have the MGS pack.

I really hope it's free, Evolution said they would have regular dlc for this game last year and all we've gotten were some lousy skins the last couple weeks.

Yes! Thanks Evolution. these are great incentives to get back into Motorstorm PR. I love the game even though I dislkie some of the vehicles. Don't listen to the nay sayers. Gamers always want everything for free and are never satisfied. They have forgotten how to say thank you.

Awesome stuff. Glad to see this and WipEout HD getting DLC in the form of new tracks, vehicles and modes. I didn't get this game 'til last month, but after looking at Motorstorm's DLC area and then Pacific Rift's, it got me wondering where all the latter's DLC was.
