PSN-exclusive Under Siege built entirely with in-game editor
With the release of the game's first trailer (above), it's clear Under Siege is getting closer to release. Expect much more on it in the coming months.
[Thanks, Marcus N.!]

Impressive, I can't wait to see more.

I have so much respect for companies that do this, especially on consoles. I mean, Epic using the same UnrealEd they ship with the game is one thing. This is an order of magnitude more awesome.

It already happened. Check out Super Hornio Bros.

That looks pretty cool.
I was just thinking the other day how bad ass it would be for someone to develop a PS3 RPG in the vein of LBP. We're now at the computing power I assume to build a RIFTs like game where a GM could design a campaign, build the levels and then have the party play online or local or whathaveyou. If no one has anything like this in the works, maybe I'll go do build it myself.

So this a PSN game, damn it looks pretty good.

looks nice. glad to read about them using the ps3 controller

Looks really good! I hope Steven Seagal is in this one aswell!
I wonder if he'll star as Cockpuncher!
Seriously though, looks good

I think the creators of Boom Blox Bash Party did the same thing. Also, you can re-create any LittleBigPlanet level using its level editor, apparently, though I don't think Media Molecule actually used it and a PS3 controller to build the game.

I'm not a big fan of RTS games (mainly because I haven't actually played any) but this has piqued my interest.
The visuals are fantastic for a PSN game and I love how the character deaths are 'rag-doll' related instead of using animations.
Good to hear it will be Dualshock III friendly.

You shouldn't be surprised that a PSN-only game looks like a multi-platform disc-release game.

This is pretty cool. I'll more then likely buy it. Getting close to 70 PS3 games now.

Since my favorite gengre of games are RTS, I am definetly picking this up.
It looks awesome and I just can't wait to play it.
Also, I'm trying to do Co Op missions in Red Alert 3 for Ps3, and I haven't found a good partner, so if someone is interested reply me to give you my psn.

Roto13. MediaMolecule did in fact create all levels within the game, using the built-in tools and six-axis controllers. That's one of the many amazing things about that masterpiece....
kentuckyfried @ Jun 11th 2009 1:12AM
It should be good as long as Steve Seagal has no part in it...
