SOCOM and Ghostbusters join PlayStation Home
PlayStation Home is getting yet another update today, with the introduction of a new SOCOM Confrontation game space and a new for-purchase personal space based on Ghostbusters.
The "SOCOM Tactical Operations Center" space is actually the first half of the SOCOM Home hub. This space will allow players to gather and create strategies around the Telestrator. Sounds a lot like the Warhawk game space.
The Ghostbusters firehouse personal space is a three-story complex, ripped straight from the Ghostbusters video game. The personal space will come with unique items, like an Ecto-1, and features Stage Set functionality, so players can create their own Ghostbusters-themed movies. Finally, you'll be able to fly around as Slimer as well. Both these updates should be available in Home later today.

There is also a significant update coming to the EA sports complex today. Hope is really starting to shape up nicely. I use it quite often now, after not touching it for months.
with updates like these, I think they can by holiday season have a really good AR game on there hands. As long as they add in more functionality, of course!

If it's the exact same firehouse from the game, it's an amazing reproduction of the movies. There are a lot of cool little easter eggs and things you can interact with. But somehow I think it'll be a stripped down version. We'll see.

does installing the Ghostbusters stuff reduce your resolution and kill the textures?

Some One explain to me the point of stage set if it doesn't include a built in recorder. it can't possibly be that difficult to implement, i mean freaking noby noby boy has it, why can't home?

Hehehe, the funny thing is, the home space will probably look better graphically than the game its self. Hows that for pathetic :P

if i was really into Ghostbusters, i might consider the space. i didn't get the game because i was waiting to get a good price for it and the bluray movies. i saw the game comparisons and it's not that bad. i'm sure they play similar, for better or worse.
