Sega looking for real-life host club stories for use in next Yakuza game
Familiar with host clubs? Most likely not. The concept of paying for a date with an attractive, attentive female may seem ludicrous to Americans, but it's a service that's easily found in Japan's urban centers. Sega is calling out for fans to submit their real-life club experiences for use in the next Yakuza game for PS3. At least one submission will be used in the game, with the author highlighted in the game's credits.
The Yakuza series has frequently used some bizarre, very-Japanese promotions to showcase its titles, but this might be the strangest yet. Imagine an American game that asked fans to submit stories of their experiences with prostitutes -- how much response would that get? Wait -- we're actually somewhat surprised Grand Theft Auto hasn't done that yet.

I took her on my Motorcycle did acouple of random wheelies, slept with her, robbed her then pressed "L1 R1 right down left up, right down left up" and shot her in the face with my newly spawned shotgun.
Great story :D

I watched a Docu. sort of thing on host clubs in Japanese...A male one though. There was this one girl who kept going there because she had lots of money and was appearently quite lonely...and obbsessive over a paticular host...Would spend thousands of dollars on the guy in one night on champane and gifts....Talked to the inteviewer of the documentary thing...Saying 'I know I dont want to get involved to serious because I got a life and everything...But he is very serious with me'...Then it switches to the guy saying 'She is crazy that way, manipluative you know'...Ahhh Japanese...The human condition packed into small neon lit cities...

Hostess bars are very common in Hawaii. They get to be very expensive, but it's sort of interesting to visit one a time or two. That documentary Lavat mentioned was interesting, I forget what it was called, but it was set in Osaka, and was pretty similar to what I've seen here in Hawaii, and Yakuza actually seems pretty accurate, too, for a fighting game.

I have no comments on this game, since SEGA doesn't want to bring it to the English market.
And yes the price of this game is dropping in Hong Kong, even for second hand, luckly I brought this game in second hand and sold it within two weeks.

I think they'll eventually bring it over, I mean how many decent games do they even have on tap for North America this year?
