Enhanced Mega Man 1 on PlayStation Network, impossible to get

According to Siliconera, Capcom has just released Rockman Complete Works, a PS1 enhanced version of Mega Man 1 on the PlayStation Network. The problem? It's impossible for you to get. To celebrate the very-late PS3 release of Mega Man 9 in Japan, Capcom is holding a contest for those that purchase the game. Winners will be able to get either a free t-shirt, or a downloadable version of Rockman Complete Works.

We're certain Capcom won't restrict the release of Rockman to just this Japan-only contest. We wouldn't be surprised to see each and every Mega Man game released on PS1 to get its inevitable PSN re-release. Let's not forget, Capcom promised a lot of downloads this year ...

oh yes, please!! i love mega man. but i could care less about this because i can play mega man 1-6 on console classix.

Megaman.. I tried playing this game again but, I really don't understand why people are so into this game... I don't mean to be a troll or anything and I'm into retro games as well, but megaman?...hmm

I'm with you. I hate the Mega Man games. The Mega Man Battle Network games were decent, but the normal Mega Man and Mega Man Zero games are just frustrating and not fun. I'll stick to the old Mario and Sonic games.

Capcom will not release MM1-6 in the US since we never got them on PS1. Japan did get 1-6 on PSone.

When Mega Man Classics 1 (or whatever it's called) is eventually released, I wonder how much it will cost. It's the same as the version that was in Mega Man Anniversary Collection, isn't it? So basically the only differences are updated menus and energy bars (which lack the chassic NES charm :P) and hints, right?

I wouldn't be surprised not to see it released elsewhere. Lots of Mega Man games are Japan-only.

I still want Super Adventure MEGA MAN! *shakes fist at Capcom*

Mega Man Powered Up 2-9 would be nice...
Maverick Hunter X2-8(and9) would be even better. (7 being a remake with 2D gameplay)
But Inafune just don't care for the fans.
