See more of PSN's Shatter in motion
OK, before you watch the video after the break: Imagine if someone traveled into the future, killed all the guys in that Yatta! video and used their blood sacrifice to revive a recently murdered Daft Punk. If they made a game about that, it would be Shatter. Now, you may watch.
We weren't cool enough to hear about Shatter on the E3 show floor, so we, much like yourselves, are just now climbing on the bus. And what a freaked out, Breakout-esque bus it is too.

If thats music from the games soundtrack, then I could play for hours regardless of the gameplay... and the gameplay looks good.

Always loved breakout games, it's nice to see a new take on a classic.
Just hope the bonus item messages don't get in the way, they do in that video but hopefully it's not as bad in the final version.

A breakout game with the soundtrack being made as a colab betweeen Happa-Tai and Daft Punk!?
My prayers have been answered!

You can tell this game's gonna have a ridiculous difficulty level, these 'mini-games' always do.

Looks entertaining, but I've got "magic ball" already.
Tez @ Jun 30th 2009 6:05PM
Agreed, but Magic Ball has painfully few levels. I need more Breakout-ish goodness, and this looks like another interesting take on it in a completely different direction than MB.

I've seen this concept on a game I had for my Palm Centro already- same powerups, same Breakout-modifications, everything...it's called Fireball...in fact, the only difference I see is the background and the shape of the bumper...
With that being said, that game was FUN...loved it...almost made me not wanna let go of my Centro in favor of a Motorola Q...
