SOCOM: Confrontation DLC available later this summer

SOCOM: Confrontation will soon join the DLC fold, with new content scheduled to drop later this summer. While details on the new content are slim, the game's official site promises more information will be made available in the upcoming weeks. What we do know is the content will include a new area of operation, a new game mode, along with new maps (teased in the tiny image above), characters, weapons and attachments.

Audiophiles will also be happy to hear the game's music will be updated and players can select a new voice-over when the content arrives. Now that SOCOM: Confrontation has evolved beyond its original feature-sparse retail release, we're excited for new ways to get tactical on our online enemies.

I really wanted to like this game, but sadly I returned. When I first started I would get voted out of a room for not having enough skills. When I got better I would be voted out for being too good. It seemed like I could never stay in a game.

I hated this game until i joined a clan. Now i only play with my clanmates on my team. Now i play it almost every night. Can't wait for the patch.

the thing that makes internet memes funny is the creativity in delivery to achieve the same ultimate punchline. photoshopping faces into pictures is not that creative

while repetition is funny the first couple times around, it is starting to get fucking annoying

seriously? clan ladders are still missing, the party system only works for 16v16, there's no calendar, that's just off the top of my head. it hasn't evolved yet, the patch isn't out. it's still not up to retail standards, there's features still on the box / in the manual that we don't have access to yet. 8 months after the release, or is it 9 now?

i love socom, but slant 6 is a failure as a ps3 developer.

I have been giving it a try lately, but when I'm the last person alive on my team they vote to kick me. In fact who ever is the last person alive on a team they always vote to try and kick that person. It is rather annoying. And it is the same map over and over. Are there more than two maps?
