Don't expect any major revelations from this set of Katamari Forever videos. The upcoming PS3 hodgepodge of Katamari classics looks exactly like you'd expect, i.e. the prince continues his crazy job of rolling an ever-growing ball. It's cute, but will it warrant a full Blu-ray release? Or, should this be a PSN-only affair?
blu ray all the way. though supposedly europe is getting this as a psn download. we've seen half of the levels so far, one new, 16 old. that also means there's about 13-15 stages we haven't seen yet that could quite possible be new.
i see no problem with this being a blu ray title especially since it has the largest item database in game history.
I would love if they offered games like this in both disk and download form, that way everyone could choose for themselves. I actually prefer the disk format, because with all the demos and other DLC I have on my PS3, it's too easy to fill up my storage space, leading me to delete various videos and demos.
I voted for PSN... it was ok to release on PS2 for $20, but they didn't have PSN back then. $15 on PSN would be best for the consumer as well as help their profit margins IMO
I voted for PSN, but, I have to make a confession.
I feel kinda bad for saying this, but, I wouldn't be upset if it were disk based, because that increases the likelihood of it having a platinum trophy, and thus, being considered a full fledged game as far as trophies go.
I know I'm not supposed to care that much about trophies, and that the true achievment is playing the game itself... But at the very least, my profile's not crowded with trophies from bad games with easy trophies, like Terminator.
Yeah I like my trophies as well, I'm a bit of a whore for them actually. But I'd like a physical copy mainly because my 40GB HDD can only hold so much and I just like being able to hold stuff sometimes!
I believe PSN is the right platform for the katamari games, also because i would really like to see another PSP version. There can never be enough katamari.
Though the katamari games are fun, they don't last forever.. (unlike the title suggests) i'd probably want to sell it one day, but it being a PSN download i wouldnt be able to do that (I still wanna get rid of pixeljunk EDEN) So i voted blu ray.

i'd like a blu ray if they do what they did for the original game and make it a low price. i also see the appeal of having it on my hard drive.
