Battle Fantasia to attack PlayStation Network this year
Arc System Works' quirky 2D fighting game, Battle Fantasia, never found a PS3 release in the States. That's about to change later this year, as Aksys plans on releasing the cult title as a downloadable PlayStation Network game this fall. The publisher told Siliconera that players can expect "some surprises" for the digital release, but we're not sure if gamers will care. The lengthy delay and lackluster critical reviews may fend off the wary. Battle Fantasia will need some new content (and a low price point!) to offset the lengthy delay and low critical reviews of the original.

About damn time..

I'd pay about 20 bucks for this. It's too late and I already got Blazblue and KOF coming soon. This needs huge improvements for it to be more then 20.

import the UK version of the game. OR play SF4, blazeblue or wait for tekken 6 all better fighting games and have a "pro" tournament following which equals longevity

It's nice to see more full games on PSN, but with all the good fighting games out, there's no reason to play this terrible one.

I didn't think this game was terrible when I played the Japanese demo. I know it was trying to copy Guilty Gear but to make it more super easier but I still enjoyed it and would love to get this game along with trophies.

I hope this version removes Ashley's infinite and fixes that ridiculous grab bug.

I'd say Battle Fantasia is actually pretty good. I imported it from Asia. Will buy it on PSN too.

I might buy this just to support full games being released as Digital Downloads.
And then BlazBlue will seem all the sweeter by comparison when I eventually buy it.
