"But.. But.. The PSP has no games!"
PSN: Erdie (Now equipped with Wii!) @ Jul 9th 2009 6:27PM
I think that argument died with this year's E3.
Tyler @ Jul 8th 2009 8:33PM
It looks like Soulcalibur visuals with Soulcalibur III or IV gameplay. Very impressive. I'm definitely picking this up.
Roto13 @ Jul 8th 2009 8:43PM
It has Soul Calibur IV gameplay because it's Soul Calibur IV. :P
Angel Mass @ Jul 8th 2009 8:40PM
Cant wait for this one and for Tekken 6
sony boy @ Jul 8th 2009 8:51PM
Why can't this have online?!?!!??!Wait, does it have online??
Deaddy @ Jul 8th 2009 9:21PM
This will make me sound like a girl, but I wonder if the character creator and all the outfits and accessories from the console version of SC4 will be present in the PSP version.
Hashbrown Hunter (OneGiantCluster.blogspot.com) @ Jul 9th 2009 7:49AM
I hope so. That has become one of the most fun parts of the game (outside of fighting).
Even the customization of SC3 would be good enough for this game.
anarkhy @ Jul 8th 2009 9:29PM
Tekken 6 and Soul Calibur.
Where is Sega with Virtua Fighter and snk with a decent Samurai Shodown? I also want street fighter 4 on PSP!
Bradwart @ Jul 8th 2009 9:51PM
Didn't Sega announce Virtua Fighter 6 during TGS?
With Yu Suzuki's departure, you may not want another Virtua Fighter...
cafecito @ Jul 8th 2009 10:01PM
If they do plan on porting SF4 to the Wii, no doubt it'll come to the PSP :)
I'd be happy with SF3 3rd Strike tho.
Darlaten @ Jul 8th 2009 9:43PM
This should, hopefully, bring an end to the banter about the graphics capabilities of the PSP compared to the DS/DSi. You can't do that on the DS or DSi :)
Popfrogs @ Jul 8th 2009 10:04PM
What banter? It's pretty undisputed that the PSP has always been capable of better visuals, particularly 3d games. It's way more powerful.
I love how games get better for Sony systems over time, it's like getting free upgrades every year. I guess that's the power of improving your devkit substantially over time and/or allowing assembly code to write to the hardware.
Jacksons @ Jul 9th 2009 6:27PM
Yeah, I'm not sure you could find anyone who would make an argument that the DS's graphical capabilities are anywhere near the same level as the PSP's. They'd have to be nuts.
The real thing to compare it to is launch PSP titles. PSP has come a long, long way.
Maverick Saturn @ Jul 8th 2009 10:34PM
I can die happy :D
j.howlett @ Jul 8th 2009 10:54PM
yes! i'm glad i have my own psp now.
Nobledevil @ Jul 8th 2009 11:30PM
Goodness gracious, that framerate is amazing. I wonder if it will be even more stable as a download on PSPGo with it's faster processor.

Nobledevil @ Jul 9th 2009 5:52AM
Well there we go. That's what I get for not checking Joystiq every 10 seconds, I guess.
tobz1000 @ Jul 9th 2009 3:32AM
Needs more Kratos.
Storm Eagle::The Blood Edge @ Jul 9th 2009 9:20AM
I really need to pick up a PSP. Between this and Motorstorm, the catalog is getting much better.
pokolvrolok @ Jul 9th 2009 11:21AM
Ashitaka....what??
That's the most ignorant thing I've ever heard!!!
Off the top of my head I could name at least 70 Great games. Not to mention the many good ones.
Oh and guess what, the PSP is getting: Assassins Creed, Motorstorm, another Gta, Soul Calibur, Tekken 6, Gran Turismo, Little Big Planet, Resident Evil Portable, Silent Hill Shattered Memories, Harvest Moon, Unbound Saga, Undead Knights, Jak n' Daxter, Army of Two and many others which will make you take back what you said!!
Jman1236 @ Jul 13th 2009 12:49PM
:Bottom jaw hits the floor:
Whoa......
creyes4182 @ Jul 9th 2009 2:18PM
All I need is this and GT psp..
Josh @ Jul 9th 2009 3:22PM
Soulcalibur games always look good, like SC1 on Dreamcast.
Jacksons @ Jul 9th 2009 6:21PM
That's remarkable.
Derrick4nb @ Jul 11th 2009 5:00AM
The only games I'll be playing for a while after release are gta ctw, socom, gt, soul calibur, tekken 6, and that new naruto game possibly. I either hope gta ctw is more like gta sa or gta iv with ragdoll physics. Only if medal of honor heroes 3 was announced with better animations and blood like cod 4 (just imagining)
