European PSN releases for July 9

Battlefield 1943 is obviously the big news this week, but there are also a few demos that might also keep you entertained, namely Ghostbusters and Fuel. Not only that, but there's a load of DLC for MotorStorm Pacific Rift, Skate 2 and the usual rhythm games. PSP owners have a bumper crop of games to pick from, plus some more Rock Band Unplugged DLC.

I'm thinking (unsurprisingly) Bethesda is once again struggling with the PS3.
Tim Parsons @ Jul 9th 2009 1:11PM
I don't expect to Fallout3 DLC for PS3 anytime soon.
LeeKelly @ Jul 9th 2009 1:13PM

Not all that bad of an update to be honest.
I've always loved the mischevious minions from Overlord so I'll be giving the Minion theme a download plus I'll trial Ghostbusters and Fuel. The DW6:Empires music pack will also be getting a click on the "Download" button. I love that Koei are releasing these for free - they aren't substantial in any real way like new characters or missions would be but it's a nice little offer for the DW6:Empires community.
The EU/AU store is still missing Metal Gear Solid. I admit I never liked the game when it was originally out but I thoroughly enjoyed the demo to Metal Gear Solid 2. I bought Substance preowned but only the second disc worked and the store had no other copy so I still don't own it. MGS3 was bliss and I adored MGS4. So yeah, I want the game on the PSN as I'm pretty sure I'd like it now if I bought it.
And there's me, just taking up everyone's precious time with lots of words.
So yeah, nice update SCEE, well done. Keep the updates like this coming :).

That's it. I'm making an American account.

Yeah but the vocals would be too hard.
sony boy @ Jul 9th 2009 1:33PM
it would be awesome if there was a ddr michael jackson with a mic to sing with.
Vidikron @ Jul 9th 2009 2:05PM
Is the US still supposed to get Trine or has that been bumped because of BF1943?
黒猫 @ Jul 9th 2009 2:42PM
Well at least their is some free playable content this week.
Damian @ Jul 9th 2009 3:58PM
1943 is absolutely outstanding . Its the best £9.99 i have ever spent on a game. Dice yet again set the benchmark for multiplayer shooters . IW are excellent but Dice well.... they are gods .
Steve @ Jul 9th 2009 5:17PM
