Tales of Vesperia demo next week, trailer teases new stuff

If you've already played Tales of Vesperia, don't be surprised by how unrecognizable this new trailer is. Namco Bandai isn't holding back on the PS3 version of the RPG, adding tons of new content, from new playable characters, new dungeons, to new fully voiced cutscenes, like the ones you see above.

Japanese gamers will be able to test the PS3 version of Tales when a free downloadable demo releases next week, July 13th. If you make a Japanese PSN account of your own, you'll be able to try it -- just make sure you know Japanese first, okay?

We contacted Namco Bandai Games America about its plans for a US release and were simply told, "We have not announced Tales of Vesperia (PS3) for the North American region at this time. Therefore, we can not comment on additional content for the PS3 version of the game in Japan." Shucks.

Lol..I just downloaded this video off of the jap psn store lastnight. Good stuff. And can people chill out....just like how Eternal Sonata came to the US, so will this. I will be getting the Jap demo asap.

Finally someone agrees with me on this on. On the last post of the tales of vesperia on the ps3 for Joystiq. it seems to me that namco bandai does go multi platform. so why not. there just waiting to announce it. they didnt say there not gonna release it.

How about just like how PS2 Tales of Symphonia never came to the US, so won't this? It's not a sure thing. It's not like Vesperia set North America on fire on the 360.

Ahaha, those Tales of the Abyss costumes at the end look completely awesome. Pointless loli-pirate and playable Flynn also sound pretty cool.

LOL honestly I don't see what you guys are worrying about. The answer Namco gave about plans for a U.S. release was basically screaming 'YEAH IT'S TOTALY COMIN OUT IN DA U.S. LOL' that it's ridiculous. Namco just likes screwing around with their fans, that's why they won't say anything right away. Just wait until September, I'm sure the beans will be spilled by then.
