Behold the LittleBigPlanet Ghostbusters DLC

And there they are. Via the Japanese LittleBigPlanet website, Sony has announced the LittleBigPlanet Ghostbusters DLC will be arriving in Japan next week, July 16. We're sure that no one really needs us to explain what will be available (it's all right up there, folks!), but here we go. Obviously, there is a Ghostbuster costume, along with a nifty trap item. There's also the "no ghosts' costume, the Staypuft Marshmallow Man costume and a Slimer hat.
Each costume will be ¥200 (~$2.17), or players can nab the whole pack for ¥600 (~$6.50). Hopefully, Sony will bust out the details for other regions soon.

SLIMER HELMET! I may splurge on that helmet if it's cheap enough.

Mr. Blackman,
Your unnecessary use of multiple exclamation marks and lack of question mark make me dislike you as a person.
The addition of the statement "first" in regards to your post further adds to this feeling. We hear at Joystiq kindly request that you repent on these actions and never return again if you cannot change your ways.
Good day to you.

nice work getting "second" btw!~
Randall @ Jul 20th 2009 11:20PM
Wizer, if you don't know where the proton packs are, don't respond to the thread.
That makes me dislike you as a person! (I'm being sarcastic, as I was when I said "first" and placed all those exclamation marks). Seriously though, if anyone knows where the packs are, please respond? I'm looking for answers.... not random comments. Thanks.

Haha that Slimer helmet is awesome... Very inspiring for '10's Halloween costume
Pumapayam @ Jul 10th 2009 1:29PM
I'd be more excited for level packs.
I was really hoping it'd be something more.
Still, DLC is DLC.
Better than nothing.
j.howlett @ Jul 10th 2009 1:31PM
they did slimer almost exactly how i imagined it. this will be the first ghostbusters stuff i buy till around halloween.
Heavytoka @ Jul 10th 2009 1:32PM
Damn and I was hoping for some levels

Very, very disappointing. I love LBP - do not get me wrong - but I am so tired of all of the outfits.
LBP is becoming like Bratz toys or whatever 'outfit changing' dolls are out there these days.
I really, really was thinking it was going to be LEVELS. Can't MM understand that we are so damn tired of outfits.
LEVELS NOT OUTFITS! Blargh!
Roto13 @ Jul 10th 2009 1:53PM
You may not be aware of this, but there are about a hundred bazillion LBP levels out there already, and they're even free.
Kevin @ Jul 10th 2009 2:57PM
I know that, Roto13, but they are not as good as the MM dev's levels. Ya dig?
Ashitaka @ Jul 10th 2009 4:51PM
They're not? You mustn't have played the same levels that I have.
Roto13 @ Jul 10th 2009 9:12PM
Seriously. There are so many amazing community LBP levels. I didn't even particularly like LittleBigPlanet until I finished the main game and started playing the community levels. It's amazing what some people can come up with.

Sack Puft Marshmallow Boy is awesome!
Copland @ Jul 10th 2009 3:47PM
Ghostbusters stage pack please !!!
When the Metal Gear Stage Pack came out, I immediately bought it.
And I think I haven't seen any stage packs from then...
wolverine @ Jul 10th 2009 3:47PM
i agree with kevin, i've beatin the game, got the trophies, so why would i keep buying different costumes every week. if there were new MM levels, then i'd probably buy both. they really are missing out. ghostbusters, killzone levels would rake in the money. this is as bad as the guitar hero shit.
eat my face @ Jul 10th 2009 4:47PM
this is so freaking awesome
must...... buy..... staypuft.... costume

Maybe if Media Molecule gets the 403 bug out of their software it might be worth it to support them after getting screwed over.
