Ghostbusters LittleBigPlanet DLC coming this week

As the Japanese website suggested, the Ghostbusters LittleBigPlanet DLC will be available this week. As you can see above, the costumes have been fully revealed. They, along with the accompanying stickers, will be available on Thursday during the normal PSN update. The pack will cost you $5.99, or you can grab individual costumes for $1.99. They're great costumes, but we're still hankering for some more levels. It's been over six months since the MGS4 pack came out, you know.

How cool would it be to have a sackboy version ghost zapper? The paintballer works great, but having his verison of a zapper would add another tool to our arsenal.
Plus, you just know MM would do the levels justice, and it'd have a whole lot of charm.

I gotta hand it to you Sony folks - I'm jealous of this one.
I'll have a PS3... someday

gotta love how this game has essentially unlimited levels yet everyone still complains about not getting enough levels
j.howlett @ Jul 13th 2009 10:51AM
it's amazing

There are quite a few really good user created levels that I've found equally as fun as the ones created by the MM team

its because MM levels have new shit built into them. like how in MGS pack they added the paint gun. or atleast thats the reason i want new levels straight from MM

But, and the big but here, is that no user really has the right to create a Ghostbuster's themed level, even if they have been given some of the themes to do so. If you took the time to make a really terrific series of Ghostbuster's levels, maybe Sony leaves the levels up and maybe they don't. It's a risk for the creator. Many of us would like Ghostbusters themed levels and the only people who can deliver on that without worry are the MediaMolecule folks.
Unless I missed an announcement somewhere that said people could create all the GB levels they wanted, that's the way it still stands.

It would be awesome if the gun worked like the MGS pack. Of course with some badass levels to accompany em'.
Conor @ Jul 13th 2009 10:52AM
I would've prefered levels but Ghostbusters is Ghostbusters!

Kinda disappointing. They had a lot more options here. And could gave made some more money.
Let's just hope we'll get enough community Ghostbuster-levels worth playing.

Costumes look great, except the slimer one...
I agree with Paul. This game has thousands of user created levels. I've played many that were very good. I don't see why people (including Joystiq) are complaining for MM to create more levels. This game was designed for the community to build upon.
The DLC that MM makes available is designed to keep the game up to date and add some radical characteristics to Sackboy. When it comes to newly created levels the task is rightfully in the hands of the community. If it wasn't for the hard work of the community, LBP would be old news. As far as MGS4 Online goes, players can't create their own levels so it's Konami's responsibility to create them.

when your wearing a slimer (that's the name of the green thing right???) costume and you stick your tongue out, will it be 2 tongues???
Warlord @ Jul 13th 2009 2:34PM
thats it im trading in LBP
for infamous.
mgale11 @ Jul 13th 2009 11:35PM
The Slimer one should come with an invisible sackboy material. So it would just look like a hovering Slimer. That'd be great.
monty12345 @ Jul 13th 2009 9:43PM
They should make some of the older dlc free because seriously.. these are a rip off.
