Trine delayed, trying to release on PSN soon

Trine will not make it onto the PlayStation Network this week, due to the discovery of a "last-minute bug." G4tv reports that Frozenbyte confirmed the delay and noted that it can't verify a release for next week either. The best answer the company could give is that the game will arrive soon.

Fret not, for if you have a PC, the game is already available. Also, we're still not sure if "last-minute bug" is a euphemism for "Fat Princess was going to devour all our sales."

but seriously man fat princess would've taken the "cake" so that was a smart business decision.

as long as it wasn't last minute "cash", then it's ok.

I like it when developers seem to finish their games before release anyway.

I would still buy both if they dropped in the same week.

Very interested in Trine now. Seems like it has alot of good ICO-like elements.

You see? This is how rumors get started. Just some blogger's speculation of why it was delayed which contradicts the more reliable source, the publisher's, reason. Of course everyone takes it as a fact and believes it...

I'm very disappointed. Trine looks like it will be a much better game than Fat Princess. I know, I know, everyone thinks Fat Princess is going to be awesome, and maybe you guys will enjoy it, but I played the beta and after the great graphics and fun, cartoony atmosphere wears off, it really isn't very fun. I wanted to like it, I really did. I'm definitely not buying it. The beta was enough for me.

The beta was also only one map man. If you were stuck only playing one map on another multiplayer game, I'm pretty sure it would get old too. I never got tired of it and continued to pop in and play a couple matches every now and then until the beta ended.

i guess with the sales maybe, but honestly i would have bought both, if the release hits next week then casual games browsing PS store will simply see both, so why delay it, anyone thats not casual likely wants both titles regardless, but i guess i can see how they'd want to make it the glory of another coming week, then again, the statement is just the writers speculation.
