Demon's Souls pre-order bonus gets even spiffier, 'importers devastated'

North American RPG fans have something to be even more to be excited about, as Atlus has revealed more pre-order bonuses exclusive to the region for its upcoming title Demon's Souls. Gamers who slap a down payment on the counter of their local retailer will receive a 40-page full-color art book and complete soundtrack of the game.

The Demon's Souls soundtrack features 24-tracks of music from the upcoming From Software-developed role-playing game. For gamers worried their local game store employees may forget to throw in the bonus disc, Atlus has confirmed the soundtrack will be secured into the back of the art book. If you're looking forward to Demon's Souls -- and let's face it, you are because it includes two of your favorite things (Read: Demons & Souls) -- you may want to check this offer out.

i pre-ordered the deluxe edition as soon as it was available. i checked my order after they posted about the sound track on the psblog and it showed up in the description.

I am so glad I waited...even though I am not hyped for a strategy book...the OST and Art book are most welcomed.

The game will make you WANT a strategy book... in a good way.
I'll wait another month before pre-ordering though, maybe Atlus will make the package even better.

I'll probably end up double-dipping with this game. Hopefully a friend will buy my asian copy from me for $40 or something so I don't have two copies of the same game lying around and have spent $130 on it.
If I do double-dip I'll definitely be buying the collector's edition.

I've platinum'ed this already and I made a trade with a new copy of Infamous (good deal :p) when I heard there would be an US version... I'll definetly get it again and, who knows, if there's a new localized set of trophies I might do them all again :)

on the psblog someone asked and the guy from atlus responded to the effect that since the servers were seperate it was possible that two versions of the trophies would show up. i guess we'll know for sure around oct. 6

This pre-order stuff doesn't affect me either being in EU, who knows if it will ever get released here.

i am stoked to get my hands on this game. i can't decide about the strategy guide deluxe edition. everyone talks about the ridiculous difficulty but all the dev videos i've seen say it's a community game with text hints other players have put up. i don't know what to do! either way though, i'm getting the art book and soundtrack! hopefully more!

i dont get why people want a strategy guide.....

I have the game imported and its amazing, the game is difficult but that is one of the best aspects of the game, its not like oblivion where oh its hard lets turn the slider down for a few baddies then back up again. The challenging aspect leaves you sometimes frustrated but hungry for more. Ive spent almost an hour not being eble to kill a certain boss so you keep trying and when you do its an awesome feeling.

Only 13 comments? Wtf!!!! You guys better buy this!!! I already got the import, but have shelved it for now, and will be getting the dexluxe do not import edition day 1. This game rocks and the strat guide is reason enough for purchase. Again i can't stress how important it is for people to buy this title!! We need more rpgs on ps3 and more from Japan. You guys do realize if this sells well...Persona 5 will come over to ps3 exclusive...if not it could very much be put on the wii or crap60 (noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!)
We can't let that happen.. I am hoping supporting atlus in their first ps3 game will bring PErsona 5, Wizardry (just announced in Japan), and Yakuza 3 and 4 localizations. WE need more Japanese games and rpgs, but you guys only seem to buy crappy shooters.....wtf...when did the ps brand get influxed with shooter obsessed xbots? (read the complainers in ps-blog if you don't think there is a lot of xbots..there are..and they are annoying and ignorant as hell!)
