Get your first taste of R-Type's Bitter Chocolate

Who knew Irem had such a sweet tooth? The team is working on a sequel to its first PSP game, R-Type Tactics, awkwardly titled Operation Bitter Chocolate. Unlike previous R-Type games, the Tactics series strays far from its shmup origins, offering Advance Wars-esque turn-based strategy in its stead.

The debut trailer for Operation Bitter Chocolate is stylish, but we're still not entirely sure what inspired its candied name. Perhaps it's solely to bundle chocolate replicas of the franchise's iconic Arrowhead with each copy of the game. Yum.

The Game looks fun, I just am not a fan of the music. Either way I'll be picking this up when released.

I really wanted to see a Gradius out on PS3 this gen. Did Konami really cancel it? :(
I've never played R-Type, I always thought "Needs more Fish"... Anyone got a valid opinion for me who has played both?

i'm the other way around.... i played R-Types alot. Final was the last game i owned and it was amazing.

Gradius looks the same more or less

The music at the beginning boggled me; there's much better sounding choral music that they could have used.
I wasn't a big fan of when it transitioned into more electronic music either.
The name is just flat out weird and awkward, in my opinion. Looks like this game didn't leave a good first impression on me =/

No no no no no! I want a game that looks like that! THAT! *Jumps up and down, frantically pointing at the first frame of the embedded video* I want something Freelancery, something sci-fi and space-based! :C
