The Japanese PlayStation Store
recently received a massive booster shot from Sony and a number of third-party developers who've made a few of their PSP titles downloadable.
Coded Arms,
Dynasty Warriors and
Valhalla Knights are among the notable downloadable games -- but the inclusion of Koei's cult classic rhythm title,
Gitaroo Man Lives, is what really sets our hearts a-flutter. Available for just ¥1,200 (about $14), we'd be hard pressed to
not buy this hard-to-find gem five or six times should it come stateside.
Speaking of which, we've contacted Koei to see if they plan on bringing
U-1's epic journey to the North American PlayStation Store. We'll let you know whether or not the developer plans on
breaking our hearts.

Gitaroo Man is the most funnest game ever, its way batter then any guitar hero or rockband game!!!!
I will pick this one up if it hits North American PlayStation Store but if it doesn,t I wil just get it next time when I buy another japanese psn card to get the other bleach game that means I will have to buy another 5000 points card which is about 67$

Oh man, I love Gitaroo Man. I'd be so happy if they released a version on PSN to play on PS3. I've got it already for PSP, but I can't find the original game for a decent price anywhere. I should've bought it way back when... but I'd def buy it if I could play it on my PS3.

I remember being at GameStop & found this used for $10. I was so excited despite already having the PS2 version.

I would definitely buy another copy of Gitaroo Man given the chance. Its worth the hope that they may make a sequel.

I found this when it was first release and had an absolute blast with it. It's a great rhythm game and any PSP owning music game fan should definitely have it in their collection alongside Lumines and Patapon.
