New Home space from Xi creators coming Thursday
The mysterious Xi event which appeared briefly in PlayStation Home was one of the neatest applications of Sony's online life-sim we've seen to date. Sadly, the Xi space is no longer available, and the only evidence of its existence are a few small trophies and old, empty walkthrough forum posts.
However, a tweet from Xi creator nDreams' CEO Patrick O'Luanaigh might be a sign of good things to come. In his own, tweeted words: "Off on holiday this week, but our next Home space should be out on Thursday.... should be fun ;)" What does that last symbol mean? We're not sure. Is it a harmless, naughty wink? Or is it a clue? Guess we'll find out in a couple days.

I stopped caring about Home spaces a long time ago.

Thanks for the update

Your loss. You are so wrapped up in the Sony Hatefest that Microsoft than theri media buddies spin, they YOU miss out.
You missed out on the free an awesome XI, you are missing out on the other great Home spaces like Buzz and EA Sports Arena.

The Buzz space would work better if you couldn't see what everyone else is choosing. Every round ends in a twenty-way tie. Sorry if this becomes a double-post.

if you completed xi you got access to an alumni space.
Tez @ Aug 11th 2009 6:04PM
Are you sure? I see the Alumni space in my list of Home Spaces but I never actually completed Xi.

it was the same place just everything all broken up and cracked

First thing I did in the alum space was go to see Stapler... it was sad to see him non-functional.

Is it just me or were the Xi puzzles as vague and frustrating as Kojima's teaser website?
joe_bevis @ Aug 11th 2009 5:20PM
Yeah I never understood what to do

Some of them, certainly, but overall it was good fun. There were plenty of places to get help with the bad ones. Xi got me to go Home on a regular basis. I've missed it, so I call this awesome news.

Can't wait for Xi to start up again! It was really interesting, and made Home a whole different experience.

Never heard of this Xi. However, I'm looking forward to get back in home and actually having something to do. I thank EA and the creators of Xi for their effort in putting effort into their spaces to make their spaces interesting.
