BlazBlue punching Europe's face with 'new characters,' other goodies
Arc System Works' competent fighter BlazBlue is set to invade Europe courtesy of PQube and, aside from including the US Collector's Edition character strategy guide and soundtrack, the press release also mentions "new gameplay content not available anywhere, like new characters and moves." This may come as a bummer to some of you that already picked up the game, because, in all likelihood, these new characters will be offered as DLC outside of Europe.
The European release will be localized in English, German, French, Italian and Spanish, and will grace Xbox 360 and PS3 during Q1 2010. Yes, that Q1 2010.

Sounds awesome to me, always excited to see [good] DLC. I'd pay for new characters

Damnit, they better offer these "New features" free outside of Europe.
And I stopped reading the source article once I saw this:
"BlazBlue is a new experience in 2D weapons based fighting games"
...

Did a snotty opinion on the game really need to be inserted into that info blast? Hey everyone, Arc systems "competent fighter" will have new content! I wonder if it will be "competent" new content or if it will only be "passable" or "sufficiently diverting" new content? Anyway, I needs me some playable Cat Man or whatever nine different names he goes by.

Damn well better be DLC in the States if there are new characters added...
And, assuming they're going to use existing NPCs, I'm gonna hope for Jubei, perhaps Hazama and/or Mokoto

This is gonna kick so much ass!

Kokonoe, kokonoe.... (yeah, i can get my hopes, right? )
As far as i can see, i would humbly say, if choosing the cast of npcs: Tsubaki, or Hazama or Kokonoe or even Jubei. Despite the fact that Kokonoe is the only one not skilled enought for a fight, that ain't really a problem in fighting games (look at Hisui, melty blood series). Oh well, let's wait for more updated info.

I'm also guessing it will be npcs, Probably Kokonoe and Hazama. I doubt Tsubaki or Makoto would fight.
Valkenhein would be awesome.
I hope they don't change the story, because it was one of the best aspects of the game (compared to other fighting games, and most non rpg games these days, it was excellent), and I would hate to miss something in the story only because is Europe exclusive.

I'm thinking that Jubei will be a little overpowered. Valkenhein would be an excellend addition to the story and the main antagonist in Rachel's story would be an interesting fit. Tsubaki or Hazama will also be pretty cool. Dr. Litchi's assistant would also rock.
