The little-known retro-themed PSN shooter, Gravity Crash isn't staying still on PS3. SCEE stealthily revealed a PSP version at Gamescom. Like its big brother, Gravity Crash will be distributed through the PlayStation Network. Looking at the trailer for the PS3 game (above), it's clear the transition to PSP should be rather easy.
Both versions of the game are being developed by Just Add Water, but it appears that only the PS3 version will include the ability to create and share levels. Too bad! Guess PSP owners will have to stick with LittleBigPlanet instead.
I think this was the game that was made by like 3 people for PSN. I never expected a PSP version, but more power to tiny dev teams trying to make a buck.
This is actually not a new development. The original E3 2009 trailer for Gravity Crash had an "Also on PSP" placard at the end of it (or, at least, the version of the trailer that is on PSN had that).
Also, while various comments around the Web accuse this game of ripping off some previous game or another, the single game that most obviously influenced this one is Atari's 1982 vector graphics game Gravitar. Those other games, if they look like Gravity Crash, were also descendents of Gravitar. I had heard Gravitar was obscure, but that so few people have made this connection is a surprise to me.
Really love the look of this. Looking forward to it. It amazes me how many good releases the PSN gets, theres been bugger all full release games i have wanted so far this year unlike PSN releases......

Reminds me of Sub Terrania for the Genesis. Even the music sounds like it.
And to top it all off at the end of the video they flash what looks like the new ps3 body... crazy!

I think that's the E3 trailer, so there was nothing new to see.

I gotta admit, I love this music. Fucking kicks ass. I'd be interested in buying a soundtrack.

This reminds me a lot like Pixel Junk Shooter which reminds me of Pixel Junk Eden. Think I am gonna go play Eden now.
