European PSN releases for August 20
Veeeedjaahs! Getchya vidjeeahs heeeaah! Unsurprisingly, a veritable cornucopia of promotional material for PS3 and PSP titles was unleashed upon GamesCom 2009 attendees -- and now, thanks to the magic of the internet, they can be yours as well. Trailers and gameplay footage for a few big titles make up a majority of this week's PSN Euro update -- but there's also a demo for WET in there, too. Which is great if you be trying to get your Dushku on.

The store hasn't updated yet, why lie
EmilBanck @ Aug 20th 2009 12:08PM
Yeah, little salty tears have fallen on my dualshock when i entered the store and found it empty....
Vidikron @ Aug 20th 2009 12:21PM
First, the post doesn't actually say that these are available this second. Second, this has been going on the past few weeks because the EU PlayStation blog has started posting what is going to be in the update a few hours ahead of when the update actually happens.
David Propst @ Aug 20th 2009 3:18PM
the store is updated NOW
EmilBanck @ Aug 20th 2009 1:06PM
They are online now... but no Dirt demo.. in Denmark atleast... so back to my salty tears...
EmilBanck @ Aug 20th 2009 1:29PM
Dirt is on the English store though for any danes with a long face =)
112358 @ Aug 20th 2009 1:33PM
ZOMG dissidia demo !!1!
Mazrael @ Aug 20th 2009 3:00PM
I found the Dissidia demo... It won't let me download the demo through my PSP.. say's I need to use a PS3.. Tried Media Go software too, but that still won't run (even after several re-installs)
Miles Pieri @ Aug 20th 2009 6:59PM
Having the same problem as Mazrael. What gives? Now you need a PS3 to download PSP demos? Sony???
Youri Zoutman @ Aug 20th 2009 1:52PM
No WET demo for Holland? Aww.
Owen @ Aug 20th 2009 2:09PM
WTF no Sony press confrence for England, I love these things I watched the entire e3 one, that I had to get off an american account becuase we didn't get that either, what the hell are you doing SCEE
Marky264 @ Aug 20th 2009 2:20PM
Where are the Sony Press Conferences? None on the UK Store? will it only be for German PSN Accounts?
wintermute2039 @ Aug 20th 2009 5:34PM
Well, for once SCEE trumps the US store. Both Dirt2 and WET demo's aren't available across the pond, so well done (for once) SCEE. Dirt is okay but WET was a surprisingly fun (if random) actioner, definitely picking that up when it comes down in price.
Miles Pieri @ Aug 20th 2009 7:02PM
Anyone else tried to download the Dissidia demo via PSP and being told they need to get it via PS3? If this is Sony's pathetic attempt at forcing people to buy a PS3 when they really don't want one, it's a bit desperate.
Wonder if this is the future for all PSP demos? If so, it seems like another huge marketing blunder by the corporation. We'll see...
Miles Pieri @ Aug 20th 2009 7:15PM
Well, they seem to have (partially) resolved it now in that you can download via Media Go! but still not directly via a PSP and wireless connection. Seriously, what the point of a portable system with internet capabilities, if you're going to knobble it like this?
Counting the days until the X-Box Portable....
r.crisp @ Aug 29th 2009 1:38PM
X-Box portable, a new brand of gaming.
Wireless connection not included ($89.99 sold seperately)
Charger not included ($12.99 sold seperately)
Screen not included ($129.99 sold seperately)
drdre74 @ Aug 21st 2009 9:47AM
man, Wet sucks booty. I played it and its stiff and not really that much fun. Its a bad version of Stranglehold which isn't saying much. This is a game that needs to get pushed back to next year. Late next year.
