Engadget seduces PS3 Slim, removes hard drive

We jokingly throw the word "technophile" around when referring to our colleagues over at Engadget -- but their most recent video preview of the PS3 Slim gives us serious cause for concern. You'll need to watch it (posted after the break) to see what we mean. We're not really disturbed by the way former Joystiq writer Ross Miller pries the svelte console's HDD from its innards. No, it's the soft piano music playing in the background and general tenderness exhibited by the cameraman that give the whole production an unsettling, Graduate-esque feel.

"Oh, hey, PS3 Slim. Look at you. You're looking mighty shapely this evening. Why don't you turn around for me. Yeah, real slow. Let me feel those buttons. That's nice, that's nice. Would you like some wine? We've got a lovely decanter of Garrafeira, imported straight from ... no? Are you comfortable? Good. Let's see that hard drive."

Not to mention the slick black and chrom finish 4 usb hubs, cf,pro stick, sd and mini sd ports, with buttion less power and cd eject button, and of course the backwards compatabilty, to display right of the entertainment stand.
the only thing bad about it was it didnt come with the 160 gig hard drive but otherwise it kick s a$$,

the slim looks like it was made in the 90's dnt get me wrong i have a 60gb ps3 myself but the slim dnt look so good..... if only the slim had chrome den i wouldnt blame da guy for seducing his slim.. i'd rather seduce my fat ps3 :D

I really dilike the slim version of any console it makes them look cheap. For 300-400 i want something that looks nice. When i got my PS3 i think i drooled over how beautifull it is. The new slim is all dull black its as ugly as my Elite 360. I have no love for the appearence of the 360. Then again i dont stare at her much the tv is the apple of my eye. Anyway just saying i like the original prankster better.

Also love the comments you people crack me up with this sh*t.
