Screw the PSP Go! Show Sony how much you love UMD by taking part in GameStop's latest used games sale. With this in-store coupon, you'll be able to get 20% off any pre-owned PSP games. With coupon in hand, you'll be able to pick up physical UMD copies of classic PSP games -- at a significantly lower price than its digital PlayStation Network equivalent.

This works on USED games, not OLD games. So if there is a copy of Monster Hunter or Resistance, he can use this on them.

Now if only Sony would tell us about the "goodwill program" for replacing a UMD with a digital download. I don't own a PSP and will be buying a Go, so it's kind of a big deal to me...

Yeah, that's what I'm waiting to find out. If I knew for sure that the goodwill program would be reasonably cheap, then it might make sense to buy some of these used games now and be able to magically transform them to downloadables later.

It probably wont happen, I've said it before, the number of possible returns that stand to have to deal with from misguided people who traded down to a PSPgo without realising what a bad Idea is was would utterly drown their system in delayed turn arounds and result in mistakes and leave people blasting their consumer serivice as the worst on the planet.

So wouldn't that be a very good reason for Sony TO start that program? Because trading a UMD for a digital download leads to a product that still WORKS on all forms of PSP. It just is no longer a physical product. So if anything, this is a system that Sony could make consumers happy with even if they already own a PSP that uses UMDs.

Even if Sony charged $1.99 per disc for the service, I'm sure there are a number of people who would get some games transferred for the convenience of having the downloaded version on a mem stick pro duo...

Pretty sure you can find "OPENED" versions of those games at Gamestop... "USED" is another story, thanks to GS's fucked up shitstain buisness practices... but I almost want to use this cupon just to show how much I'd rather have UMDs than downloads. unfortunately I bought almsot every PSP game that was ever worth anything on day one and dont really have anything I could buy.

Off-topic (but i have i really need help with it): I subscribed to Qore yesterday and downloaded the sept one but I have yet to get my MAG beta voucher, I didn't have any notifications on at the time so i'm not sure if it affected it, but i'm really in need of help, did this happen to anyone else?
