Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 has the breast use of SIXAXIS ever
Ever since the fall of Lair, Sony has been reluctant to tout the SIXAXIS functionality of the PS3 wireless controller. It's no longer a marketing bullet point, and even if developers offer support for motion control, it's usually turn off as a default. (Most recently, Batman: Arkham Asylum let players use SIXAXIS to control Batman's glide.)
While other developers ignore the SIXAXIS, Team Ninja isn't afraid to highlight its unique implementation of motion controls. In the first Ninja Gaiden Sigma game, players were able to cast magic by shaking the controller violently. This time around, the shaking has an entirely different (but equally important!) effect. You probably should have figured it out from the headline and IGN's cleverly constructed image. If not, there's a video after the break.

people complaining of sexism in computer games is exactly what is wrong with the world in this day and age
carterk88 @ Sep 9th 2009 12:08PM
Makes me wanna motorboat my controller!
Space @ Sep 9th 2009 12:09PM
Let's all pray that they don't make a Wii version with waggle controls
Mojo @ Sep 9th 2009 12:28PM
I know it's so sexist! I mean the game design and team ninja have always portrayed their heroins in such a sophisticated and true to life manner.
Seriously!?!? If some people are worried about this game being sexist then maybe they shouldn't buy it. Make your stand, thats awsome; really it is, but I don't find this wrong more than I find it hi-larious.
I'm sure game companies could make games that are far more appropriate, but how many people would buy them? Not enough because it's not appealing. But I comment because I kid.
MrSmiley1 @ Sep 9th 2009 12:32PM
Are the making a special edition of this? If so, I bet the pack-in will be a bottle of lotion.
Space @ Sep 9th 2009 12:39PM
maybe and attachment so you can put the controller on the back of your hand
L-GT @ Sep 9th 2009 12:28PM
Lol, that is hilarious. The guy even warned not to do it infront of your wife or gf. Good warning...unless, of course...they're into it too...
QAguy @ Sep 9th 2009 2:34PM
And they wonder why women aren't flocking to be gamers...lol Don't get me wrong I love breast...no really I LOVE BREAST...but c'mon...this is so juvenile & perverted.
Space @ Sep 9th 2009 3:14PM
maybe you should watch that video again
MrSmiley1 @ Sep 9th 2009 12:35PM

Chris @ Sep 9th 2009 12:58PM
That's just low. It's the same retardation that made Naomi walk around without her shirt done up. I find it very sad and geeky. If you're gonna put sex in a game, do it God of War / The Witcher style i.e. do it properly. Not in some perverted way like this.
goldenboy @ Sep 9th 2009 1:18PM
TECHNOLOGY WIN!
HeXeN {KevinConroyDefeatsBatman} @ Sep 9th 2009 1:19PM
I am sure the few female gamers that were getting this won't anymore.

Even that I got Gaiden 2 for the 360...
I'M SO TOTALLY GETTING THIS!
makimak22 @ Sep 9th 2009 1:30PM
Now I really wished xbox360 had sixaxis for D.O.A. Extreme Volleyball....
deathxrebirth @ Sep 9th 2009 1:33PM
Glad to see Itagaki's spirit still lives on in Team Ninja.
Kattleox @ Sep 9th 2009 1:42PM
Innovation my foot! You could make Rose jiggle in MGS4 during codec conversations by shaking the sixaxis. Further proof that Kojima is the source of all creativity and innovation: the only true muse of our time.
Space @ Sep 9th 2009 3:16PM
I suppose you could shack sackboy's breasts too...if you gave him breasts
Ghost inthe Shell @ Sep 9th 2009 1:43PM
lol well that set gamers back a few years . worth it though lol
Jinsenken @ Sep 9th 2009 2:15PM
Eh.
On the one hand, it's fucking hilarious.
On the other hand, I can only show this to my best friend or else I'll look like a perv to everyone else.
golobulus @ Sep 9th 2009 2:22PM
it's like...it's like they're just waving hello...nice to meet you.
korwyn @ Sep 9th 2009 2:39PM
wow they can be this creative with only the SIXAXIS, I can't wait to see how much more creative they can be with the PS3 motion control.
Josh @ Sep 9th 2009 3:20PM
That's pretty funny.
Good stuff.
KinjiroSSD @ Sep 9th 2009 5:10PM
There are only two things that drive technological innovation and that's war and sex.
den-69 @ Sep 9th 2009 5:42PM
boob bouncing, only on ps3.
Chromekreeper @ Sep 9th 2009 8:53PM
it can only do everything!
EVERYTHING
Jake @ Sep 9th 2009 5:59PM
Pretty sure MGS4 did this already (get rose on codec - shake shake shake) never the less, more games need this!
JeiShi @ Sep 9th 2009 6:15PM
Lol, I remember that one!!! I found that out and at the same time my friends were watch me play MGS4. Strange but fucking hilarious!!!!
Pat @ Sep 9th 2009 7:36PM
I think this is one of the stupidest uses of a control mechanic ever. My problem is not with what it does (the developer can add whatever they want to their game and you'll buy it or not) but in a way demeans the Sixaxis technology. Instead of developers using it to come up with interesting control mechanics they are applying it through geeky gimmicks that don't add nothing to the gameplay.
Since the launch of the PS3 the Sixaxis has been demonized- either as a gimmicky addition or a "copy" of Nintendo's controller. Interestingly, the Wii-mote was never characterized as gimmicky by those same people. Lair was used as the punching bag of how "bad Sixaxis controls are". Most reviews gave low scores specifically because it was a Sixaxis- only game. And to this day whenever a developer mentions they want to use the motion control functionality you will find a line in the article nodding to Lair as what to expect.
The reality is that Sixaxis controls are great and can be used creatively as shown in Killzone 2 with the bomb planting mechanic or the snipping controls (I honestly haven't been this good snipping as I have been with KZ2), the simple mechanics of High Velocity Bowling, the grenade throwing tilts of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, or the inspiring controls of Flower. And to be fair Lair's mechanics work very well. It is true that there was a design failure- no standard controls were offered right off the bat to appease those weary of motion controls.
But the campaign against the Sixaxis won. The DualShock 3 replaced the name and suddenly even Sony stopped mentioning the capable hardware in the device. Less and less developers are using it including first party ones with the likes of Naughty Dog dropping the uses they so effectively introduced in the first Uncharted.
And it is a shame.

Oh, wait that's...that's not my line. Sorry! My line is.."Whoopiedeedoo!"...oh wait that's Adam Sandlers line. Crap...
