The battle of the console-exclusive peripheral-wielding weirdly-punctuated trivia games has come to an end ... with PlayStation the victor. WBIE is bringing
Scene It?, the former 360-exclusive trivia game,
to PS3 and Wii. While the 360 version was bundled with a set of special
Scene It? controllers, the PS3 and Wii versions of the game will let you simply use your ol' fashioned DualShocks and Wii Remotes.
But what if you want to use a wacky peripheral? Don't fret, as you'll be able to use your
BUZZ! controllers with
Scene It?. Considering many of the modes of
Scene It? require buzzing in, the translation is incredibly faithful.

For those of you who have experience with both games, can you explain to me how Buzz differs from Scene-It? Never played Buzz before.
MrXile @ Sep 21st 2009 10:51PM
BUZZ is a game show format, with a varied amount of questions on various subjects.
Scene It, as you are aware, is just TV/MOVIE trivia.
That's the difference.
skyline666 @ Sep 22nd 2009 9:32AM
I have played both, I own Buzz and my fiance owns Scene-it. Personally i like Scene-it better as there are way more rounds than Buzz, and there are more varieties of gameplay (like whether opponents loose points for incorrect answers) instead of just playing a standard game like Buzz. But Buzz is still a good game though with more variety in terms of the questions available (although we havent had any dlc for Scene-it yet).

So, no peripherals for the Wii?
Finally!!

why even bother?? the game wont do nothing compared to Buzz!
Markez @ Sep 21st 2009 11:12PM
Why not, though? Scene-It is a blast to play, lots o' fun.

cause Buzz! is that much better...lol
wallywallas @ Sep 21st 2009 11:13PM
So I can either buy a brand new game with only TV/Movie trivia, or just buy the TV and Sci-Fi movie DLC for Buzz.....
What to do? What to do?
Dan Davis @ Sep 22nd 2009 12:04AM
Rent "Scene It", pay for any DLC you want. That way you're only out a few bucks.
I see an easy platinum in my future.
skyline666 @ Sep 22nd 2009 9:36AM
Have you even played Scene-it? Compared to Buzz, Scene-it has way more variety with more game modes, whereas Buzz has more variety in terms of types of questions available.
Personally I would choose more variety of game modes for more replayability over different types of questions, as sooner or later you're going to run into the same questions in both games!
skyline666 @ Sep 22nd 2009 9:38AM
That was in response to Aggie_Ceo by the way, dont know why it didnt reply to his?!?
Imran @ Sep 22nd 2009 10:46AM
Got Buzz on clearance at Sears with the 4 controllers for $25. Great deal! I think its cheaper now if you can find it. Great party game.
inevercheckthis @ Sep 22nd 2009 12:07PM
I want more DLC for Buzz!, I'm starting to get repeat questions! More characters, more rounds of play per game, different kinds of rounds of play, more etc.
I WANT MORE EVERYTHING!
