Audi opening sleek Home space, apartments
Yet another enormous corporation is dipping its toes into the advertising-friendly waters of PlayStation Home -- later this year, Audi is releasing a Home space with a whole slew of new features beyond "televisions that show commercials all day long." Well, they have those too (of course), but the space will also grant access to an Audi-driving minigame. Those who perform well in said game can unlock apartments in a massive housing complex in the middle of Audi square. We assume if you lose your ranking, you get evicted. Such is life in the high-stakes, no-mercy Home racing circuit.

Mmmmmm...I love Audi. I'll be checking this out. Would be sweet if they had virtual versions of their concept cars.
russell @ Sep 23rd 2009 11:16AM
The screenshot looks like the Audi is on a Wipeout track.
Frank @ Sep 23rd 2009 11:39AM
Maybe that means they'll have the RSQ concept from I,Robot.
Orion @ Sep 23rd 2009 11:39AM

I wanna see what that Apt is like...and I wonder why Audi is doing
this...it's not like more than a handful of people that go in home
can afford an Audi anyways....lol...so why advertise there unless
they are going to use it for there cheaper brands as well
jazzy geoff @ Sep 23rd 2009 2:01PM

DavidW @ Sep 23rd 2009 12:09PM
Too bad home still won't let me connect :\
Markez @ Sep 23rd 2009 12:27PM
Is there anything in home actually worth checking out? It seems remarkably pathetic. I've been in there only a couple of times since I picked up the new system, and it just seems horribly asinine. Anybody who can point out to me what is cool in there? t'would be much appreciated.
Traceur_Ryuk (PSN: Ryuk_shinigami) @ Sep 23rd 2009 12:56PM
Jesus Christ... We get at LEAST three of these per Home article. Look, it's used to easily hook up, play games, and hang out with friends. If you see no value in it, fine, no one else wants to hear it.
Markez @ Sep 23rd 2009 1:01PM
Relax, pal. I just got the system. Ive only been on home a few times. I'm asking for suggestions on what good I can get out of it. I've only been checking the PS3 tab for the 1st time over the past week or so. RELAX.
Space @ Sep 23rd 2009 1:02PM
you see at least three of these per home article for good reason. Home is boring and pointless and sluggish.
Markez @ Sep 23rd 2009 1:02PM
Effing hell the whiny "why am I being persecuted" PS3 fanboy attitude is so tired.
Ashitaka @ Sep 23rd 2009 1:34PM
The only Home space I find worth spending my time on is the EA Sports Complex. Check it out.
Free Poker ftw.
Barry32171 @ Sep 23rd 2009 2:15PM
IMHO, the Godfather space is better to play poker in... Easier to get a table, at least.
This space should be cool. I agree, the I, Robot Audi would be cool to see.

audi rsq = dream that will never come true :'(
