Half-Minute Hero rushes to UMD on October 13, PSN one week later

Half-Minute Hero's bite-sized gameplay makes it an ideal game to throw on your Memory Stick. But, will gamers have the patience to wait an entire week for the PSN version? By our calculations, you could play Half-Minute Hero over 25,000 times on UMD before the PSN version comes out!

oh my god, and I just bought the PSP Go, f****** brilliant job Sony, this better not be the way things start to go in the furture, I'm not waiting a week for Sony to get their finger out of their nose! (I don't even want this game but things better not start this way)
Raider197 @ Oct 5th 2009 3:25PM
And yes, furture

I'll wait on the PSN release and get it for my PSP Go, I like the CFW on my PSP-2000.

It's like torture, and future. Because, you know, Sony are torturing us by making us wait... until the future... TRIPLE POST SORRY
linebeginstoblur @ Oct 5th 2009 4:56PM
By one week. There are many worse things out there to get upset over.
Levi @ Oct 5th 2009 10:16PM
you're not sorry, or you wouldn't have triple posted! Thx for hijacking a post about a cool game!! It's your fault you spent way too much on a device with less functions than its cheaper little bro!

If someone didn't have the patience, I'd shake my head.
S. Tiger @ Oct 5th 2009 6:54PM
Raider197 doesn't have the patience.
I just want to know if there's going to be a preorder bonus...

I'm not really surprised. Whatever system I choose to buy a game on ends up being delayed. All this will do is delay my purchase of the game until after I'm done with Borderlands...

Is it coming to europe in UMD? European PSN even, cuz we can't download stuff from the states.
manobon @ Oct 5th 2009 5:09PM
Does anyone know if the developer/publisher gets a bigger cut from PSN instead of UMD? That's kind of my only concern regarding buying this game.
Levi @ Oct 5th 2009 10:18PM
It might even out. Publishers have to pay royalties for each UMD they use, just like Blu-Ray, and they also have to pay for packaging, shipping, blah blah. However, they have to pay for their game to be hosted on PSN's servers too. Maybe it balances out.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Xeones25 @ Oct 5th 2009 7:12PM
I might end up buying this on PSN. Though if it is going retail then it will probably be a $30 game, which I'm not going to pay for this.
Most likely I'll end up waiting for it to go on sale before buying. The demo was interesting enough but I can see it getting insanely frustrating in the later levels. I don't know if I could bring myself to paying more than $10 for this game.
Zoidberg! @ Oct 5th 2009 8:48PM
I can wait.
Levi @ Oct 5th 2009 10:20PM
I won't pay more than $15 for a digital game when there's a hard copy alternative. I just bought Prinny on PSN only because it's still like $30 on eBay and only $10 on PSN. I'm willing to bet the price of the game that it will cost more than $20.
Either way, I'm just glad it's coming out before my trip from NY to CO in November.
Isilme @ Oct 22nd 2009 8:23PM
Man...it looks like waiting a week for the PSN version = $40. The UMD version is $30. :(
GREM IS ODST @ Oct 22nd 2009 8:58PM
@ Isilme
I feel ur pain too. I bought a 2 $20 psn cards from 11 this morning waiting for this game to come out. Now, i think i'll just use it and by power stone or something cause i ain't spending no more money. :(
GREM IS ODST @ Oct 22nd 2009 9:00PM
Is it possible to return psn cards? I really want this game alot.:(
GREM IS ODST @ Oct 22nd 2009 9:17PM
Whew. They dropped the price down to $30 just a while ago.
