LittleBigPlanet celebrates its birthday with free costumes

If Sackboy's edible outfit wasn't good enough for you (selfish!), Media Molecule has upped the ante just a little bit: the launch-exclusive Spacesuit costume will also be made free for all this week. The spacesuit will certainly come in handy when traveling underwater in the new LBP levels that are coming up.

Exactly! I used to be cool having my Pumpkin head and my Space suit costume. Everyone was like "OoooooOOOooOoO000 where'd you get that?!" Now everyone is going to have it!

Underwater? Dear Lord! That's over one hundred and fifty atmospheres of pressure!
How many atmospheres can the suit withstand?
Well, it's a space suit. So I'd say anywhere between zero and one.

How do I get the spacesuit, it doesnt show up in the canadian psn store... just the pumpkin does.

Like it says in the article, these are coming with the PSN update on Thursday, November 5th, which at this time would be tomorrow, not today.

Thanks, Joystiq! It's an absolute delight running about in the space costume—perfect for when I feel like platforming while my friends aren't available! It's like Sackboy was sent on a special mission to explore worlds! I really appreciate the timely reminders about such free DLC promotions, so please keep them coming! (Woo PS3 Fanboy!)
