Magic: The Gathering Tactics to have PC/PS3 connectivity

Relations between Sony Online Entertainment's John Smedley and the guys from Penny Arcade have clearly improved since the Donut Debacle of 2006. Smedley recently took a moment to talk to Jerry "Tycho" Holkins about Magic: The Gathering Tactics, revealing a few savory tidbits about the title -- the most delightful of which being the fact that the PS3 and PC versions of the game will be interconnected, allowing a player to use his account (and all his meticulously crafted decks) on both platforms.

Basically, if you've got a laptop, a PS3 and an unslakable hunger for thin, rectangular artifacts imbued with immeasurable power, then your social life and work ethic are about to be assaulted on all sides. Good luck with that!

Wish there was more real info on this game.... like... how it plays.

As of now, it's hard to get excited for it based on the trailer.

hell yeah.. Magic the gathering was my favorite card game in the 90's... I loved the PC microprose game duels of the planeswalker and the ps1 game was ok.. Can't wait for this. I was actually a little peaved that 360 got their own magic game... now this makes me happy. especially since i am a ps3 and pc gamer who hates ms and xbox with a passion, both my systems ps3 /pc are intereconnected. It's funny how Sony is supporting PC gaming more than micro$haft.. Sony has released more PC games in the last 5 years then m$ (which ms has closed down all pc gaming devs and wants people to buy red ring of death boxes instead) Another example of PC-PS3 connectivity in game, Unreal 3 with the pc mods, and upcoming Final Fantasy 14, DC Online, the agency..... Magic tactics day 1 buy.
