Demon's Souls strategy guide replacement program now live

Atlus has announced that it's previously revealed Demon's Souls strategy guide replacement program is now active. If you purchased the deluxe edition and wound up with a defective strategy guide -- the defective units have "unusual cover ink wear / fading" -- then all you have to do is visit the replacement program website and follow the instructions. In short, it amounts to filling out a form and shipping off the front cover and first page of the guide. Within 8-12 weeks, players should receive a shiny new copy.

All requests have to be postmarked by December 31, 2009, so hop to it if you've got a defective copy.*

*The editors of Joystiq realize that this post doesn't include a single crack about how incredibly difficult Demon's Souls is. Please accept their heartfelt apology.

Wow, just awesome customer support. Atlus - I'm sold on DS, will buy one tomorrow.

Too bad other gaming companies have the "dine and dash" mentality...most notorious: Bethesda and Electronic Arts.

Am I the only one that thinks Demon's Souls isn't as difficult as they're making it out to be? I personally find Infamous harder. IDK, maybe I'm just weird.

I felt that way from the first day playing this game....now I am two gold trophies away from platinum-in the game lol (will knock it all out tonight) and I still feel the same. Demons Souls is not hard, it just forces you to think. Its a tactical RPG..and one of the best games out for the PS3.

On Topic: I just sent my cover and first page out today...lets see how much they really care lol.

My thoughts exactly. The game makes you think. If that makes it hard.... Well then I guess gamers just don't like to think.
Which i find odd, since most of my gamer friends are the smartest people I know.

Sucks i cant do this cause i live in the uk and imported. Dont regret it though, i can still use the guide and the game is awesome! easily my personal goty
