Amazon selling 80GB PS3 for $349

Don't you hate deals where you have to search for coupons, mail in a rebate, or jump through fire? Don't fret, because this amazon.com deal is pretty simple. You can get the 80GB PS3 system for $349 -- that's $50 off retail price. And best of all, you don't have to do anything other than add it to your cart.

Seeing a new lower price tag on the PS3 makes us happy. As we've stated time and time again, we think price is the only significant hurdle PS3 must tackle right now. Hopefully, this Amazon.com sale is a sign of things to come.

Get BioShock for $20 next week

Anything sounds good at 20 bucks; especially sealed, new PS3 games. So getting BioShock at the magical price of $19.99 should be a no-brainer for those who've yet to grab a copy. Best Buy will feature the underwater adventure at a discounted price of $29.99 starting on Jan. 25 and ending on Jan. 31. That's according to a poster on DVDTalk who has next week's Best Buy circular. On top of that, Slickdeals reminds us to make good use of that $10 coupon off any 2K game, which drops the price down further to that desirable $20.

Deal: Street Fighter IV pre-order for $50, with free $10 gift card [Update]

Update: Looks like the deal is dead. Price is back to $60.

Wow, it's only a few weeks away until Street Fighter IV hits store shelves. If you want an early pre-order deal, this offer from Circuit City looks like a champ. Circuit City is selling the PS3 version of the game for $50, and will throw in a free $10 gift card. (The 360 version, strangely, costs the regular $60 retail price.)

It's a terrific deal, but there is one caveat: Circuit City may go out of business before the game comes out. Ouch.

Import Deal: Siren on Blu-ray for $25

Have you tried Siren: Blood Curse? The survival horror game is a PlayStation Network title here in the States, but over in Asia, it can be found on Blu-ray. You can download the series for $40 here, or you can buy an import copy of the Blu-ray for only $25 (plus shipping). Now, you may be saying "I don't speak Japanese!" No worries. The Asian version of the game includes English voice acting and subtitles. Intrigued?

Happy New Year PS3 fans! Looks like amazon.com has dropped the price of the PS3 version of BioShock to $30. That almost makes it as cheap as the year-old Xbox 360 and PC version! (Some would argue that a late port should've launched at this price.) The PS3 version adds all the DLC content found in the 360 version and adds its own exclusive difficulty level and access to new PS3-only DLC. It was one of our nominees for Best Shooter of 2008, so you may want to check it out if you haven't.

Here comes another set of Amazon PS3 Gold Box deals. This time around the offering will be a mix of games and Blu-rays. PS3 Gold Box event on Amazon this Thursday

Looks like these bargain-tastic holiday deals will keep coming, most likely due to the depressing state of the economy. For those of you who still have a little cash to burn, Amazon has announced that on Thursday, December 18th, their Gold Box deals will feature PlayStation 3 titles and Blu-ray disks. One deal will be made available all day (or until supplies run out), while Lighting Deals will begin at 6AM PST/9AM PST -- each of them will run for several hours before being replaced by another. Check back here on Thursday, as we'll keep you guys updated as to which items will be offered and at what price.

Play.com are at it again with another Monday Madness deal. What do you say to Prince of Persia for the frankly ridiculous price of £17.99? A great game for a great price, just in time for Christmas. What more could you want? Eagle-eyed Play.com visitors might have noticed that Tomb Raider: Underworld was going for a similar price earlier today, but went out of stock very quickly.

So if you want to get hold on one of this year's best action-adventure titles make sure you get a move on. Before it, too, sells out.
