Rat Race may be crawling back from the dead
According to the report, developer Super-Ego was working on the game for Sony, making it a first-party exclusive for the platform. However, along the way they had to deal with "unstable finances of their investor," leading to a breach of contract with Sony. Sony considered the project done, but the team at Super-Ego wasn't ready to simply abandon their work.
In the time since the game's cancellation, Super-Ego has supposedly been in talks with other third party publishers, willing to help provide the resources necessary to finish the game and get it on the PlayStation Network. Considering it's no longer a Sony first-party title, the team will no longer make the game exclusive to PS3. A PC version is supposedly planned, with an Xbox 360 version also being considered.

Rumor: SCEE blocks Street Fighter HD release due to 'faults and other problems'

thePSN.co.uk had a chat with Capcom UK
Capcom is working on yet another version to submit to SCEE "within three weeks." We find it quite strange that, in spite of a successful release in the US, Sony's European counterpart has become the sole roadblock in this game's worldwide release. Certainly, there must be some reason for the constant delays.
[Thanks, Alex E.!]
Flower gets priced: $9.99
His preview also adds a detail we didn't know: the price. Flower will be available on the PlayStation Network on February 12th for $9.99.
Watch a LOT of zombies die in new Burn Zombie Burn clip
Not much is known about the upcoming PlayStation Network game, Burn Zombie Burn. But, we're pretty certain you can deduce what you do from the title. The developers have released a gameplay video, and guess what? You burn zombies.
You burn a lot of zombies. The number of characters on screen is absolutely ridiculous -- we wouldn't have it any other way. The gameplay looks like a lot of fun, but we're not sure how well our nerves will fare having to survive each massive zombie horde.

Noby Noby Boy on PlayStation Network February 19 [Update]

Gamers in Europe can expect this spiritual successor to the Katamari series to hit the PS Store on February 19. It'll go on sale for a measly €3.99. While pricing for the UK was not mentioned in the latest press release, a quick look at previous pricing on PSN suggests to look forward to putting away £2.49. With recent news of a delay in Japan to coincide with the Feb. 19 release, we're thinking that North Americans should expect to see the game appear on that day too.
Update: We were right. Namco Bandai has announced a US release of Noby Noby Boy for Feb. 19th. It will be available for $4.99.
OutRun exclusive to European PlayStation Store
Sega of America hasn't commented on the sudden change of release plans. It's certainly not a big loss, but those that are desparate to get their hands on the game will undoubtedly find a way to make a European PSN account.

Final Fantasy Crystal Defenders R1 being ported to PS3
You may not have heard of Final Fantasy Crystal Defenders. It's understandable, considering it's currently only available for the iPhone and was released onto the app store without anyone really noticing. Crystal Defenders is a Tower Defense game based in the Final Fantasy Tactics A2 universe. It's also great fun, as you'd expect. With the announcement that Crystal Defenders R1 is heading to WiiWare in Japan next week, there's also news that a PS3 port is also in the works, probably for PSN. There's no word yet on whether the PS3 version will have upgraded graphics or features, but we're hoping so. Though the word "port" doesn't fill us with confidence. Currently this is for Japan only, but condering the iPhone version was released worldwide, it seems likely these other versions will be too. If you don't want to wait you can try it out now by grabbing it from the iPhone app store.
Publishers continue to blame SCEE for missing European PSN releases
- Cash Guns Chaos
- Cuboid
- Lumines Supernova
- Penny Arcade Adventures: Episode One and Two
- PowerUp Forever
- SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation
- Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
- Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars
Publishers are blaming Sony Computer Entertainment Europe for the delays. The Stores are still operated independently in each region, and SCEE has been strangely slow on releasing these titles. "Sony's process for getting titles on PSN varies in North America, Europe, Japan and the rest of Asia", said Joel De Young, COO of Hothead Games.
SCEE's response to BritishGaming.co.uk doesn't really inspire confidence. "This has been an ongoing issue and we're doing our best to resolve it." Wouldn't releasing these games be the best way to resolve these delays?
