Burnout Paradise Ultimate Box trailer shows Party footage

Criterion Games has earned a lot of street cred for the amount of content they've added to Burnout Paradise. The upcoming Party pack is the first premium (read: not free) DLC coming to the game, and many gamers are eager to show Criterion their support. However, while we know the Party pack adds new pass-the-controller modes, we're not exactly sure how it will play, or what it will look like. This newly released trailer for the Europe-exclusive Ultimate Box shows a few seconds of the DLC pack -- but it's still not enough to get a good feel for how the expansion will play.

It's not too long until the DLC will be released. We're hopeful that Criterion will make something that justifies the asking pice.

How do you make a survival challenge in LBP?

If you want to try making something other than remakes of Mario Bros levels and flying penises, you may want to create a survival challenge. These levels are all about getting a high score. In fact, they don't end until you die! Find out how to make one of these levels in this special video, presented by the Media Molecule team.

Watch a LOT of zombies die in new Burn Zombie Burn clip

Not much is known about the upcoming PlayStation Network game, Burn Zombie Burn. But, we're pretty certain you can deduce what you do from the title. The developers have released a gameplay video, and guess what? You burn zombies.

You burn a lot of zombies. The number of characters on screen is absolutely ridiculous -- we wouldn't have it any other way. The gameplay looks like a lot of fun, but we're not sure how well our nerves will fare having to survive each massive zombie horde.

Flower. Screenshots.

It's hard to replicate the elegant beauty of Flower in a headline. The upcoming PlayStation Network game is getting ready for a February release, and we're psyched. It may sound surprising, but Flower is one of the best-looking games we've ever seen, from both an artistic and technical standpoint. Techies will love seeing thousands of individual blades of grass rendered on the screen; while those with a softer side will be awe-struck by the eye-catching use of color. Once you play Flower, you will believe.

This is Killzone 2's opening cut scene

Perhaps by now you've decided whether you've wanted to board the Killzone 2 hype-train or not. If you have, then you'll have seen the gameplay videos, prepared for the release day, and read up on everything you'll ever need to know. The game's now just one month away, though that wait may seem unbearable.

There's only one thing which can abate that feeling of longing and that's perhaps to have a taste of one of the first things you'll ever see upon putting in that mint new disc. We're talking about the opening cinematic scene to Killzone 2. Watch it right here after the break if you've got to purge that urge; however, don't, if you want to keep the whole experience fresh on February 27.

[Thanks T-e-X!]

CES Fat Princess vids remind us we really want to play

We've loved the look of Fat Princess since we first saw it at E3. These videos from the CES show floor remind us why. The Castle Crashers meets Wind Waker art style, coupled with the simple (yet deep) team-based gameplay have us itching to try it out for ourselves. Hopefully it won't be too long before we see the game's release on the PSN. We expect this game to be a big PSN hit this year. Check out the videos after the break to find out why for yourselves.

CES 09: Killzone 2 vids from the show floor

Spoiler alert. These videos contain many things from Killzone 2, including story points and gameplay from the later parts of the game. Of course, these are totally awesome story points and gameplay, so if you don't mind the game losing a little mystery, you're in for a treat. Having said that, the first video is both spoiler-free and the best of the bunch. Entitled "Ballet of Death," it shows off the game's detailed and bloody death animations, put to a classical music soundtrack. Nice. Check out all the videos after the break.

All four Burnout Paradise Legendary Cars revealed

Click for high-resolution image.
The Back to the Future-inspired hovering 88 Special was just one of four cars to be introduced in the upcoming Legendary Cars DLC pack. Today, Criterion has revealed all four, one of them taking a cue from Ghostbusters. The Manhattan Spirit is based on the film's Ecto-1 -- in the game, it's a stunt car that has some kind of special ability when players hit L3. Hrm.

The Carson Nighthawk, based on Night Rider's KITT, has a special lighting array triggered by boosting, which should look fantastic at night. Finally, the Cavalry Bootlegger is a tribute to "The Chicanator," with a massive horn that can be triggered with L3. The fanservice can be seen in all its glory in our gallery.

Update: Video after the break.

A pair of inFamous videos

inFamous is a PS3-exclusive action title in which you're able to manipulate the powers of lightning for good ... or evil. The developers of Sly Cooper have shown a lot more footage at CES, and while it's intriguing, we're finding ourselves drawn to the over-the-top violence of the similarly-themed Prototype. Watch these videos and tell us which one you prefer.
