US Greatest Hits list unveiled with launch date for Holiday 2008

With Japan's "the Best" line already out and Europe's soon to come, it would be natural for North America to follow suit. We think E3 is that time. Titles like Heavenly Sword, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, MotorStorm, Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction, and Uncharted all have the potential to qualify.

All titles have sold well over 600k each (except for Ninja Gaiden Sigma which was a little under 500k) for total sales in the North America and Europe. Last we checked, requirements for PS2 Greatest Hits games (and most likely for PS3 as well) were 1) sell over 400k units and 2) must be out on the market for more than nine months. All games except Uncharted meet the nine month mark by July. We'll see, we'll see. Here's hoping.
