Buy. Yes, Resistance 2 is only a few months away. However, those that want to fully appreciate the story of the world's fight against the Chimera will want to pick up the original. While the graphics are dated, the story and gameplay still hold up. Go through the single player campaign and see why this launch title has become such a hit with PS3 fans everywhere. We're certain that once you get to the end, you'll want to pick up Resistance 2 when it comes out.

Rented this one from GameFly and then proceeded to not touch it for 6 months. Once I did finally pick it up and play it, I played through it twice in like 3 weeks. Great story, great game. Only problem was I started playing it so late that online just wasn't fair. No newbies to play against to get into the swing of things so I was just slaughtered.
