Buy. Assassin's Creed is a spectacularly polarizing game. While some on the team absolutely despise the game, others find it brilliant. The intriguing story certainly earns the game kudos, as does the expansive, immersive world. The combat is intuitive and fun, while running around the city, being able to climb it at your whim is more than just a technical achievement. There are moments of sheer brilliance in Assassin's Creed -- just expect to do the same things over and over again. For a game that's as large as Assassin's Creed, it's surprising and disappointing to realize there's so little to do. For those that want to be immersed in a brand new world, definitely give this a try.
