At last, the long-awaited DS browser is here, but just remember to be careful when you buy -- there are versions for both the Lite and Phat DS models, and it looks like not all online retailers have separate listings yet. Obviously, Nintendo thinks you should just buy another DS, since that seems to be the hip thing to do these days. So who's planning on celebrating this week with a little browsing?

Even though the series started in Japan back in 1989, and ended in 1996, the tie-in games just keep on coming for Dragon Ball Z. Atari has announced Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for the Wii and PS2. Like the previous installment on Wii, this is part of the Dragon Ball Z Sparking series in Japan and is developed by Spike.

Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 will include improved Wii controls and over 150 playable characters, which is a lot of big-haired dudes and blonde versions of those same big-haired dudes. The stages will include day/night versions, which opens up a transformation ability for many characters. There's a teaser animation on the Japanese website, but no screens or anything yet.

Take this! Take this! My playthrough of the upcoming Dragon Ball Z game didn't really have sound, and maybe that was a good thing. No matter how fun the game may end up being, the repetitive voiceovers in this new gameplay video will certainly irritate anyone. New York Comic Con had a great deal of games based on anime franchises. But, they were all on the DS. The one game that I had to play was the upcoming PSP Dragon Ball Z game. I got a chance to talk to some representatives from Atari and I had a blast. As you can see in the embedded video above, the graphics are quite smooth, and the presentation is quite sleek. The "Another Road" mode offers an original story for DBZ fans to appreciate. Load times? Minimal. The controls were incredibly accessible, creating for fast, fun battles.

The game looks to be quite ideal for on-the-go play. I wonder if it'll feature enough depth to satisfy hardcore gamers. Also, with my relative lack of inexperience with DBZ games, I have to admit, I'm not exactly sure how much Another Road expands upon the franchise. Can it feel fresh, considering how it's Atari's 26th DBZ game? We'll find more closer to its March 20th release.

Do you want to get your hands on Godzilla: Unleashed? Or how about the PSP-exclusive brawler, Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai: Another Road? Well, New York Comic Con will be the place to be. It's happening February 23-25 at the Jacob Javitz Center in NYC, and it's where you, the general gaming public, will be able to play these games for the very first time.

Tickets to the convention are quickly selling out. One day admission is $30. Of course, if you can't make it, don't worry--I'll be there, sure to give you the latest hands-on impressions and coverage from the show floor.

Atari loves releasing Dragon Ball Z games. Year after year, another fighter appears in the DBZ universe, and while they tend not to be awful, they're not all too memorable either. Shin Budokai: Another Road is the latest addition to the DBZ fighter genre, and if IGN's glowing preview is to be believed, it looks to be a heck of a lot better than the original Shin Budokai.

The controls appear to have been improved upon greatly, and the story mode should be a treat for DBZ fans: it's a "what if" storyline that chronicles an alternate path the story would've taken if Trunks had risen to power differently.

IGN also has some new videos of the game in action. Otaku can prepare to get their blond wigs out on March 20th.

Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai: Another Road was just announced last week, but screens have already come out. The Magic Box just put some screens up and the game is looking quite similar to the last PSP DBZ title. You don't have to believe me though, view the screens for yourself! Just remember, looks aren't everything.

It looks like our previous story about a new DBZ game on the way was right. IGN is reporting that Dragon Ball Z fans can look forward to another installment in the Shin Budokai series. Atari's Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai: Another Road will add more than 50 new fighting skill and ultimate attacks, a new storyline that deals with Future Trunks and his fight agains Majin Buu. The title will have available characters from all of the Dragon Ball anime worlds. The title is due out in March.

I bought the first Dragon Ball Z game on the PSP and had quite a bit of fun with it. I didn't care for the plot though, so hopefully the plot is improved in this sequel. Either way, the DBZ games remain some of the best anime fighters on the market. Are there any readers that are excited like me about Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai: Another Road?

The Magic Box is reporting that Gamestop listed EA Replay 2 and Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai Another Road coming out soon for PSP. The EA Replay 2 had a release date of February 19th for $29.99, but when I checked the Gamestop site the listing was no longer there. The release for Dragon Ball Z is listed as March 20th for $39.99 and that page is still up.

While Gamestop often lists incorrect release dates for games, they don't typically list games that don't end up eventually hitting store shelves. So there's a good chance PSP owners will get more time with EA and Goku soon. Until then, we'll just have to wait for someone to collect all the Dragon Balls and wish these games into existence.

Loads of people, especially Nintendo haters, have been questioning the quality of the Wii graphics. French site, NGCFrance, has put up 13 sets of images from games featured on the GameCube and Wii one after the other to compare the difference, if any.

We wouldn't completely trust these screens, fellow Wii fanboys/gals. We aren't saying that the site intentionally altered screens to try and make a negative point nor that the pictures are wrong due to our Nintendo fandom, we are just saying to look with an open mind. We especially love the Fire Emblem comparison. Magic blast vs. magic blast. Sweet.

We have to admit we cringed a bit when we read that the next DBZ for DS is card-based. Le sigh. While we are huge DBZ fans, we can't really stand card-based video games for some reason. Maybe they take some kind of special skill we lack?

Anyway, Famitsu has a large scan for the game. Guess what ... it's in Japanese and we, as always, can't read it! Honestly, Japanese lessons would help so much in this industry.

A lot of familiar faces from the series can be seen including Goku, Vegeta (wouldn't be complete without the smack-talking Saiyan prince), Android 18 plus many, many others. Who knows -- this title could get us into card games ....

What would the PSP be without cartoon-based games like Spongebob and Dragon Ball Z? While many of these games don't appeal to older games like most of us here, they do bring in a very important demographic and help to usher in the next generation of gamers.

Having said that, another one of these toon games is making its way onto the PSP in the form of THQ's Avatar: The Last Airbender on Oct. 10.

In the game, players will take control of Aang, Katara, Haru and Sokka, and will have the ability to customize bending powers to master the four elements of Earth, Air, Water and Fire. From what it looks like so far, there may not be any multi-player function, which may lead to many young boy's shedding tears and getting beaten up at school.

Alright, we admit it. Dragon Ball Z happens to be one of our favorite series. It's easy get caught up in 30 episodes where each one is a continuation of the same battle. And it is always worth it to see Goku slip in a famous Kamehameha.

Being fans of the games as well, we are always happy to see another DBZ fighter come out. Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 promises a lot with 130 playable characters and a new way of fighting using the Wiimote. Pressing buttons in this game will only get you so far. You must thrust, twist, turn, and "punch" the controller. We can hardly wait to be punching the hell out of some living room air to try and accomplish some of the best moves from DBZ.
