PSN Thursday: GTI Club+, Magic Ball find a Pulse
Yesterday's PSN update brought something for the casual fans, the twitch gamers and the racing club. Magic Ball is a PSN title that delivers some updated Arkanoid love, while Ultimate Ghost 'N Goblins and GTI Club+ bring something for the adrenaline crowd. As per usual, many of your favorite rhythm titles also have new DLC to peruse. Oh yeah, there's also the Skate 2 demo. The complete North American PSN update can be found after the break.

Magic Ball bounces into stuff on PSN today
Get ready to bust some balls stuff with balls when Magic Ball releases on PSN January 15th (also known as "today") for $10. The Arkanoid-style wall buster features "two visual themes" -- Pirates and Knights (we speculate a Ninja DLC pack can't be too far behind) -- with really beautiful, "completely destructible" 3D environments. Each of the levels also has "its own mini-story scenes."
Magic Ball features "a vast number" of Trophies and in-game multiplayer chat. According to the game's producer, the title apparently received a difficulty upgrade during testing to avoid it feeling too casual. Magic Ball should be available in North America when the PSN updates later today (it's available right now in Europe).

Break out first gameplay footage of Magic Ball
Are you one of the many that have experienced sleepless nights wondering what the recently discovered PSN game, Magic Ball, is all about? Well, brush aside the sweat off your brow. You need not worry anymore. Magic Ball is ... well, it looks like Breakout. With snazzier graphics. Yay?
While PSN is known for some high-quality and innovative titles, from flOw to WipEout HD, it looks like this is strictly for casual players. That's not a bad thing, of course. The simple gameplay seen in Magic Ball looks rather charming ... so long as it's priced right.
Check out IGN for a full preview. Video is embedded after the break.

Creat Studios working on at least 3 PSN games
A long time ago (think about a year ago), independent developer Creat Studios announced it was working on a number of PlayStation Network games. We haven't heard much from then since, but it looks like they're working on at least three different PSN games. German USK rating board added three new games, all from Creat:
